Starting to make the odd mistake, think he could use a rest. Last few games haven't been the best from him.

Was expecting that to happen yesterday in all honestly, but I believe he was our only fit left back. Post Man City hopefully we can give him a breather.

      Thought he was excellent yesterday.

Perhaps a consequence of how good his form has been. Every player makes mistakes every game.

Even big Virg lost his shape for the Ritchie cross yesterday.

Was laughing at Henderson bollocking him after he slipped, and then got back in the wrong position.

      He had a good game.
      Very reliable and consistent.

      He is only human mate.

Even on an off day he's still far better than any other LB options we have.

On a bad day he is still 8/10 his level of performance and energy are just incredible. He will make mistakes as all players do and I think his wife is also about to give birth.

Indeed, but all players need a breather now and then. Just thought he seems a bit jaded at the moment. Need him and as many as possible at 100% for games like Arsenal and City.

I agree with you itā€™s not just the odd defensive mistake he is also not at his best offensively. I think we could have got away with having a Moreno yesterday or even Clyde covering LB.

What? The monkey from ā€œEvery Which Way But Looseā€?

I know it was only Newcastle mate but thatā€™s harsh.

Ran his socks off. Applaud the lad for playing last night if the rumours are true.

His decisive movement in to the box for Trent to pick him out, and the ball across to Firmino. We were all Andy Robertson heading to the away end to celebrate.

My admiration for him grows as each game goes by.
