He will start, as it doesn't look like Gomez is in the squad. Sucks for Joey, as he's played well. But this Robbo were talking about. He's gonna open up that side for Diaz, far more than Joe could. I've missed the over lapping runs that create Lucho that space to get free.

Robbo gets an assist Saturday and Joe will be used as our jack of all trades defender who will fill in wherever when needed.

If we continue to compete in all fronts, there will be plenty of games for Joe to fill in

Yep. Love Joey, and he did well. But no one presses like Robbo. Also think Diaz is head and shoulders better with Robbo on the pitch, than without. I lok for him to have a big game

I'm sure Robbo would be happy enough finishing his career at Anfield but you're making Bayern out to be some dead end career stopper.

I don't think many players out there would turn their nose up at Bayern that easily & who knows if after 8 years at one club after winning everything there is to win one might consider a change in environment.

That's fine but Robbo is his own man and he won't put himself in those other players shoes just like no other player who wants out will. They'll have their own reasons.

Bayern are going through a bad patch indeed but Kane's done brilliantly well for himself. I doubt they'll be this worst off again next season.

As I said he's achieved all the sport has to offer (besides internationally) at his peak so he wouldn't necessarily be going to achieve bigger, so it may just be a case of resetting himself in a different environment.
