I'm worried Jürgen is too stubborn and it's Keita plus VVD or no one for him.

      So no one it is.

We're difficult to please aren't we. If average players, we will moan. If we miss good players, this happens as well. If we complete and lose out to other top clubs, we will say we can't compete in the transfer market as well.

We fans are so robust aren't we? ;D. But that's what makes life interesting.

Big half for Flano here. He's not only yet to impress but yet to even flatter, been very very poor this pre season.

Good for 25 poor for 20.

The startling drop off in quality when we lose a few players is obvious to all. You know what a loss here and a poor performance might be the wake up call everyone needs at LFC.

I still think people don't factor in how hard it is to play with a striker like Origi. When you get so little movement and so little in terms of dropping deep and creating it's basically 'give it to me on a plate' or nothing.

Midfielders hate to play with these sort of forwards. They need to make a perfect pass to find him. No room for error at all.

Spot on, as a winger/midfielder myself it used to wind me up no end.

Origi will never make a top striker while he has a hole in his @rse.

At least when you knock it slightly long or short, someone with desire and determination like Luis would try to get to the end of it by running harder forward or dropping back real quick to save your pass. It really has a big impact on keeping possession and maintaining the attacking flow.

I think, you, I and beerbelly were all saying that when he started off last season Mick and to be fair to the lad he had a small spell where perhaps the stars aligned for him and he looked better. Not good, but signs of encouragement, but yeah I'm back with the give up on him stance. Much prefer the time to be given to both Solanke and Woodburn if Sturridge isn't available of course.

100% spot on, it's amazing how great players can make a poor pass look good.

For the best example in our side is Coutinho, he beats men all the time without even touching the ball because he reads the direction and strength so much faster than the defender and gets them on the wrong stride.

      Enough of that though!

      GET THE F**k IN WOODBURN!

Which was why Mario never made it. He was too lazy on the pitch. I'm not at Melwood to comment on his training. You get my drift. Hahaha.

Solanke and Woodburn should be ahead of Origi in the pecking order after this run of form from both

This. I just cannot fathom why we continue to be inactive in the transfer department when it was so apparent when just a couple of injuries last season put us in a stall.

You know full well that if the same thing happens again, Michael Edwards will be covering his gawky sorry ass by engaging in private email sessions with the owners in Boston, retrieving and manipulating statistics that blame such losses of form on the manager. It worked when it got Brendan Rodgers sacked and you can bet that c**t will do it with Jürgen.

Top quality goal that by Woodburn, we don't get to see many hit with the left foot from outside the box. Do him the world of good that one.
