Ideally, I (and all of us) hope he stays!

For the thread's sake, for that money, I would probably try getting Insigne from Napoli and Jean Seri from Nice.

Marco Asensio from Madrid. Tempt him with regular football.

Unfortunately our back room doesn't move quick enough to get deals done in 3 weeks...so he is going to have to stay and we better start negotiating deals  right now for next Summer.

This is all basically pointless, but... How much do u guys think Pulisic and Lanzini would each go for (IF they were sold)? I know Pulisic won't leave, but we are playing the game sooo...

My personal option would be give Firmino that role and buty a top finisher.

Other than that demand Rakitic in any deal. Try and sign Fabregas or have a look at Ryad Boudabouz

Agreed, but if we're on about replacements, Isco.

Now we're talking. Or as a sitter, Veratti.

Agree on Ascencio, he is going to be a fantastic player (well he already is) and I believe his release clause is around 80 million Euros.

Seen very little of him mate.

If we're after a sitter, I remember you liking Weigl of Dortmund (young lad who sprays the ball about with ease, metronomic and protects the back 4 very well indeed. Could do a lot worse than him, some would be scared at him being so young for a defensive midfielder (21) but I rate him and seem to recall you singing his praises in our matches against Dortmund... either that or you said he was the 6th-8th best player you'd seen  >:D

Haha no Veratti is absolute A1 top quality Luke. PSG might need to move somebody on too after signing Neymar and Mbappe.

If he did go I think we'd need to bring in two players. A midfielder who possesses some of the qualities he is due tfor bring to the 8 shirt, a player like Modric or Rakitic but I don't k ow the market well enough. I would also be happy enough if we threw a bid in for Mahrez, I like him, he is versatile, skilful and scores goals. I'd actually go for him regardless of Coutinho's future.

Can't think of anyone as good. Who would want to come. And who's club would sell. At this stage in the window :(

Not a bad shout that mate and while it will make some laugh Sigurdsson is a quality player too. I'd prefer Mahrez out of the two but I think they might be the types of choices we'd actually have to make.

Our set-pieces, with either, would become bloody deadly.

I like the idea of getting two too, we're too short in numbers at CM.

Oxlade Chamberlin has been superb tonight for the gooners. I figure we must never have fancied him but he has excelled in two different positions tonight. Would certainly add something to our squad.

How about this, sell Coutinho for 180m, buy Sanchez for 40-50m (he has 1 year left) and offer him a 4 year contract, 20m signing on fee, 350k p/w which is, 72.8m for 4 years. I bet that f**ker will desperately want to join us. We will have 26-36m left too, but most importantly, our first team will be stronger, much stronger.

Haha I'd swap Sanchez for Coutinho in a heart beat mate (well maybe not a heart beat) BUT he won't be going to another EPL team until his contract runs out next season.

I'll play the game, put a bid in for mbappe offer him better wages etc than Barca and if we manage to sign him, tell them to F**k off over Coutinho too.

It looks like we could get a transfer record fee for little Phil if he goes.  I've loved him from day one at Liverpool and he is a joy to watch; however,  he is not quite up there as one of the finest ever Prem players (yet) so IF we could buy one player with that money I believe it COULD leave us stronger as a team.  Would Levy be able to turn down £100m for Alli?  I'm not sure he could? If we got the Ox as well then I'd say we're looking fairly strong.  Or what about Sanchez and the Ox for a combined fee?  The Gooners would be spitting nails!  ;D.

Ali's not a bad shout as a top player, he's brilliant IMHO. My guess though is that the answer as far as Levy is concerned is yes.

Gareth Bale? 100 mill would probs get him, but would we pay the wages?
