 Daniel Sturridge starts for Liverpool in this afternoon’s Premier League clash with Crystal Palace at Anfield.

The Reds make five changes for their first home game of the season, with Joe Gomez, Andy Robertson, Ragnar Klavan and James Milner also coming into the line-up.

Mohamed Salah is named on the bench.

I completely understand the selection - Millie will move the ball much quicker than Can.

Team should be good enough for this job and then some.

Surprising selection, especially Gomez coming in. Back 3 maybe? He might be playing Robertson and Milner as wingbacks.

Good to see Robertson getting a game, Sturridge too. Feel we will win this.

Hoping he dropped Moreno and Lovern because of their defensive performances so far this year, who knows. Good luck to Robertson, sure he will be fine.
Watching Man Utd destroy Swansea, god I hate that team, but they look very dangerous so far.

Surprised Salah is on the bench and TAA isn't even in the squad. Surely a sign the manager intends to rotate in order to freshen things up if needs be (not sure I agree with this, but we'll see).

Very much looking forward to seeing Robertson on his PL debut for us, as well as Sturridge on his return.

Have to say though when I look at the back line and midfield, overall whilst we have lots of 7/10 types and some quality young players, nobody really jumps out as being truly outstanding -- a worry not for today perhaps, but a stark reminder that we simply must do some serious business before the window shuts!

TAA injured?

Nice to see Danny start although space behind Palace may be hard to find. This lot were very poor against a nice footballing team last week. We really should eat and sh*t them... win this with our cocks out. 😎
