Glad he's not coming here! We are much better off without him.

Doesn't help much but at least Arsenal are not getting him either.

So let me get this straight, we back down because we wouldn't pay Monaco's valuation so end up going for the cheaper (and probably lesser player) option in Ox?

      and paid 40M for him...

To be honest, he was a "nice to have". He would have been a "must have" if Coutinho was sold (assuming that he is staying).

We needed a backup for that position played by Lallana and Coutinho which I think Oxlaide can fill in for now.

Lemar is a 10x better footballer than Ox, you can clearly see. Like I said before, Ox seems like your Lennon/Navas wingers, but Lemar is a footballing wide player that can play as a #10 too. So pissed off right now, he was there for the taking too.

Wow, 14 goals and 17 assists last season and looks absolutely quality, but we decided he was too much and went for the lesser and cheaper option... ;D.

Do you think he is worth £90M..........no way we were ever going to pay that and too right as well.

I think he would have been as a replacement for Coutinho.

Is anyone worth the fees actually being paid? An 18year today cost £165mill for Christ sake

You have to ask yourself, is Coutinho gonna play every PL and CL match? How about Mane and Salah out wide? And Lemar looks to be a better option than Lallana because he controls the game better, so yeah, I would have liked to have seen us pay 90m for him instead of 40m for Ox.

With Ox, you know he ain't gonna push Salah and Mane on the bench, and same with Lallana and Coutinho, but Lemar.. you can see he is an exceptional talent and would be breathing down their necks if they play sh*t.

Dunno, whats the price of a league title?

Imagine 14 goals and 17 assists on top of what Mane, Salah and Firmino can get you.

Imagine how many headers VVD can win from set plays alongside Matip and how much more solid we would look. Not to mention his threat in opponents boxes as well.

These big money players win you trophies.

It's ok mate, we want to win the "right" way......8m net spend per year. That way we will appreciate the title so much more.

I'd rather sell Coutinho and buy him for 90 mil, he looks a fantastic player and he is younger too.

Crazy money, but if he turned out to be world class I doubt anyone would complain. It would be nice to get a future world class player at that age.

he's 21 and probably a better prospect than Coutinho at 25, he's got more physical strength. Once Messi and Suarez retire, I wouldn't be surprised if Lemar is the best in the world when he peaks.

To me, he is like a Wijnaldum with pace and vision, and with better pace, he can easily by pass players , and with better vision, he takes more risks in passing. How the F**k did we F**k this up? argh!!!

would Lemar get ahead of Coutinho in starting line up? Probably because Coutinho doesn't offer much protection for the defence. Lemar wins the ball more. Probably because he is a bigger player.

It's quite obvious Coutinho is not needed for every match.

No doubt Lemar is a talent but £90M really..............that's not the market FSG operate in unfortunately.
