Dunno, whats the price of a league title?

Imagine 14 goals and 17 assists on top of what Mane, Salah and Firmino can get you.

Imagine how many headers VVD can win from set plays alongside Matip and how much more solid we would look. Not to mention his threat in opponents boxes as well.

These big money players win you trophies.

There is no absolutes mate and especially in football, can he replicate those stats in a higher quality league!

I can't remember any shouts for him last week, amazing how a player suddenly becomes he could be the difference.   :)

Although I think VVD would have a greater impact for us.

But I thought we wanted the manager to be backed? Kloppo obviously wanted him enough for us to bid 70+m on him.

I would agree with this. Klopp obviously wants Ox for a different reason than he wanted this cat.

      Lemar

      Tall
      Strong on the ball
      Makes runs
      Good passing
      Good shooting
      Good dribbling
      Good free kicks
Best 21 year old since Messi was 21.

      Coutinho

      Short
      Can't tackle well
      Good passing
      Good shooting
      Good dribbling
      Good free kicks
2nd of the best player in the league for his position behind Deli Alli

If Neymar is worth 200m at 25, it's scary what Lemar at 21 could be worth.
He wanted to come here and we could have got him for 90m.

Yes I believe we did and by all accounts the player preferred to come to us rather than Arse but once the price went up to £90M the club decided that was too much.

Fair enough you got to have a limit and personally I'm all for paying a bit extra but £90M for a unproven youngster!

Too much risk for us without owners with mega bucks.

They are utter idiots, there is no way FSG will get a chance to sign a player of this quality at 21 for 90 again.

But has he got a buy out clause?  :f_tongueincheek:

Wonder if he has a history of back injuries.

Stop talking out of your arse again Riba.

Coutinho is actually taller than Lemar. And they're both short.

Lemar is a great talent but you clearly know F**k all about him, so stop pretending you do.

I bet most, if not all of us would pay 90m for Asensio, and he has had less experience!!!

I think he would be an ideal replacement for Iniesta, they have Dembele too upfront. They can also switch to a 4-2-3-1 with Messi in the CAM position and Lemar as LW with Dembele RW and Suarez upfront.

I did know Lemar wasn't tall, because in addition to seeing him play on TV on a few occasions, I also saw him live in the stadium. From the second row. What happens far too often, however, is you pretending to know more than you do. How many times are you going to get caught at this before you stop bullshitting?
