I think he's itching for a move. I don't think he gets on with Klopp and now his buddy Sadio has gone. This was probably an unintended consequence of Sadio leaving.

Yep this isn't a mad shout at all mate.

Be it reliability, availability or any other reason I think we could see him moved on and maybe this window.

JĆ¼rgen never really has seemed totally convinced either.

Itā€™s strange when he was key to getting the player in

Could just be one of those convenient injuries as we are leading out of the club.

As I say .... no stomach for it. Never had the stomach for it. Never will. Should have been shot out long ago.

I've spent the entirety of his spell at the club defending him and I still believe he's a fantastic player, but comes a time where if you can't stay fit long enough to show any of that for an extended period of time then its useless. Maybe he needs a less physical league or its something to do with the climate (he was injury free at Leipzig).

The truth is we can't lose Keita and Thiago both for extended periods of time. They are the only two midfielders we have who combine the ability of winning the ball back high up the opposition's midfield  and then do something meaningful with it wether it is via a pass or running with the ball at their feet. Missing them both at the same time is spreading us very thin.

I also would like to slip a little word/question about our medical team. Last season the two most injury prone players surprised us and suddenly became injury free (Matip) or much more rugged (Keita). This season it seems like we are back to old stories with those two. Is it pure coincidence or did we maybe tweak something and it messed with those two very injury prone player's equilibrium and they are now back to being injured?

I think Klopp is losing patience with him and fast, we can't afford to carry players like him, when he does get a chance he doesn't really do much to warrant starting the next game.

I think we need to get shut this window and sign someone with some balls.

Sorry Naby lad your time is up !!!

So just listening to Redmen TV, and there is some ā€œspeculation ā€œ that Keita is ā€œfakingā€ illness and injury due to his unhappiness / current contact situation. Again, just speculation.

It's just saddening. You can virtually never count on him to be fit which is a shame because the few times he managed to string more than 5 weeks of fitness together he slowly started looking like the player we bought. But it simply never lasts with him and then he has to restart the whole ''recovery + getting back to speed'' cycle.

With Keita and Ox it looks a lot like Liverpool need two midfielders.
Holding out for one particular player when Henderson and Milner are starting is
starting to look like a couple of seasons ago when the CB position was decimated.

Think Ox would have left if he didnā€™t get injured , thankfully the injuries at the moment at as bad in terms of time out - just seems to happened all at the same time

If we can get Jota and Jones back ASAP thatā€™s a help , and then Thiago a week or so after

Keita whilst last season seemed like a turning point - so far it seems a backward step now

Could be the same issue with Sturridge where he stated that some players donā€™t have the ability to play through a touch of pain - or words to that affect

Looks like it was a last minute thing

I've heard literally last minute like on the coach before it left.
