Terrific last night and took a lot of hammer from them.

Was a bit worried in first half that he was starting to boil over but channeled it beautifully.

The guy is pure class 93% successful pass completion and majority forward passes.

      Did well.

Nice one Naby, now do it consistently, and get a proper run in the team.

He was everywhere. The awareness and first touch after Allison threw the ball to him was beautiful.

      1:15 for those interested.

Along with Fabinho these will form the core of the midfield for years to come, they are finally starting to settle now and both of them make the team so much more dynamic, exciting times ahead, especially with MO getting more and more back into form, that flick to Shaq for the third was lovely.
BTW wasn't it around this time that Robbo was introduced into the team as well, maybe Jürgen has a set formula for getting players up to speed, seems to work pretty well.

He fought for his place and did very well. He will be a player for a long time. We needed his directness and quickness.

Some of the vertical runs with the ball for 15+ meters reminded me of Ox. I hope this game gave him the confidence he lost (for whatever reason). I hope it's enough to make him a factor in the upcoming Napoli game.

Love the way he carries the ball forward with ease. It's exactly what we've been missing in midfield this season more often than not.

A v strong match yesterday. My MOTM for sure. Hoping to see more of the same going forward! He needs to be a must-start against Napoli imo.

Now that's the Naby we thought we were getting. Keep it going lad and you won't be able to be dropped from the 1st Team.

I'm delight Naby finally show he's ready to integrate into his team.  Surely he will improve in each game from now on.  Also great it come at crucial time as Joe Gomez absent really weaken us but Naby at his good form imo could compensate by strengthen our attacking game. Keep it continue Naby :D

Been saying it for a while, he needs to play more central as a hub, that is where we will see the best in him, which in return will improve the team immensely. That was where he was at his best for Leipzig. Give him #10 role and some freedom, #8 or #6 in a 2 man midfield or a #6 in a 3 man midfield!

Or to simplify......just play him centrally and not as the sitter ;)

What a game from Naby.  Love how he moves forward with the ball and he will link with our front three even better  with more games. Proper box to box midfielder. What an awesome player we have on our hands

On boy what a midfield we are going to have when these lads all click. Naby looked great today settling in really well .
Wait until he plays on Tuesday he will not have seen support like that before.

Glad he got hooked because it hopefully means he will start on Tuesday night. Less of an impact playing on the left today but still a decent performance, tidy in possession and a few nice touches. It’s a massive boost for him to find some fitness and form at such a critical stage of the season.
