Our midfield all have 2 ingredients and that is they are solid off the ball and can play the basics when they have it.

Keita will have to match those basics before Klopp starts to trust him.

Very disappointing that Naby is playing no part in the run in.
And that's disappointment with him, that he's not playing well enough to force his way into Jurgens thoughts/team, as opposed to disappointed in Jürgen for not playing him. The manager am sure would love to play him and have him as an option.
OK, he's on the bench, but he's making no impression right now.
Dunno what the heck is going on with him, know he's had some niggles, but it's not like that is a midfield that would be hard for him to get into if playing even reasonably well.
And him in Leipzig form would be such a boost for us.
Just have to do it without him this season by the look of it...

Top of the league, CL final last year, last 8 this year with "that" midfield.

It's such a shame that instead of praising the job they do, people prefer to malign our players.

To be fair the season is nearly over and he’s been non existent.

Great squad depth though as we’ve been incredible without him.

Hopefully he comes good next season or even better - pulls his German form for the run in

Wha? So he wouldn't get into the midfield if not playing to form?
Think a lot of people would agree that the defence is brilliant, front three also when on form, but that we have room to improve in middle.
Obviously we're doing great and think the midfield lads are doing well too, but we're competing with Citeh, so you have to look to improve, cause they're already strong and won't stand still.

Still injured, for all we know that might be the reason he played so little part in the few games before that. Which wouldn't surprise me if that was the case because he started the 5 or 6 games before that and was really starting to play well too.

Maybe he's been carrying something, but before Fulham he'd been on the bench for previous PL games so have to assume he was fit enough to play - while before that thought he'd done well enough in some PL matches.  But now looks like is out again :(

Ah it's just a pity, earlier in the season we were willing him along, hoping his form and confidence would grow - and I thought he was starting to show signs in games back before the first Munich tie - and was thinking he was going to be a real asset for us in the last 3rd of the season, but that's starting to look like it's not gonna happen.

You never know though I guess.   But after paying 50 odd mill for him, we haven't seen the player we expected, that box to box hard running, tough tackling, goal threat type of player.  Yet.  And there's always next season...

He can go in the summer if today's papers are to be believed, cant see it myself to much time and effort put in to get him to Liverpool injuries have seen him on the back foot once Jürgen gets him sorted IM sure he will be a huge asset for the club .

I'd be very surprised if we ship him out after one season, unless there is more going on behind the scenes. I still think he will become one of our most important midfielders, he just needs to settle in a bit more.

F**k sake writing him off already. There's a special player in there for sure, it's obviously going to take this season for him to properly adjust, something we all hoped wouldn't happen, but he's going to be very special for us from next season on.

The way he glides up the pitch is beautiful to watch, it's just that final ball that let's him down and I am sure Klopp will be working on this with him.

Give the lad a break FFS.

      I totally agree with this...

His ,imo, simply trying to hard  at times to leave his mark on a game. It's nothing that a goal or two will not fix. Just has to relax and they will come

The emergence of the real Naby couldn’t have arrived at a better time in the campaign.

this isn't the EPL though it suited him tonight the intensity was nothing like the EPL. He is though just like Fab getting better with each game. I think he will be massive next season or even in this latter part of this season

That cheeky run in the dying minutes deserved a goal.

He’s so classy on the ball, love him.

Does seem to get dispossessed quite easy sometimes in dangerous positions but I’m sure he’ll work on that.

Still not seen a great performance from Keita as yet, but the goals (second one a bit on the lucky side, but sometimes you need that) has definitely raised his confidence levels. Beginning to look like the player we thought we had bought... Should he score again next game ;D... those confidence levels will be stratospheric. He'll be out there like Pluto
