similar to Sturridge and Lallana, this is not good.

Yup, the sky if definitely falling and we are in deep deep trouble.

No not deep trouble as we have plenty of options in midfield, but I am starting to worry a bit about his injuries, they are starting to mount up a bit don't you think?

      Injured again.

      Hip injury this time.

Naby not having much luck since joining us. Still young so hopefully he can move past these niggling injuries soon.

Noticed him celebrating heartily at the trophy lift last night. Hopefully a sign he isn't out for long

I think I'm past caring about Naby now if I'm being fully honest.

Forgot he was even in the team.

Looking like Aqualani 2.0 at this rate.

Had an injury towards the end of last season, this is more Guinea's fault wanting him to go to Egypt, while we wanted him to rest. Also proven we were right when he was sent back here from the African Nations.

Interesting so lots of little niggly injuries over the last few years with normally a few weeks out at a time, a lot of muscular injuries as well, similar to Sturridge and Lallana, this is not good.

Injured again.. Hope its not Kewell 2.0

Ruled out of Arsenal game with a muscle injury. Boss saying he could be out for a while. Starting to think that he is never going to be the player we all thought he would be.

Exactly, don't think he has totally got over the injury he suffered tail end of last season because of his involvement in the ANC

It really is said but I'm the same way, I don't even consider him when thinking about our midfield options. Honestly think Lallana has a better chance of meaningful minutes at this point and that's saying something.

Given his injury record I wouldn’t be putting him anywhere near matches until he has trained for a while whilst fully fit.

Literally forgot we even had him until I saw the player thread a moment ago.

Can’t wait for him to be back playing and hopefully stay injury free. Towards the end of last season when he was getting a good run of games he was hitting some really good form, I remember he was running the midfield v Barca and then that tw*t Rakitic took him out and he’s not been right since.
He started last season really well too but it’s them damn injuries, keep him fit and we will have one hell of a player and it won’t be a case of who plays alongside Fab, it will be who plays alongside Fab and Keita. It goes unnoticed but some of the things he was doing to teams last season was brutal; for example, he ran the show vs Palace and completely humiliated Townsend with that turn, like wise vs Bournemouth when he pulled off a double nutmeg (who the hell manages that?!). He’s shown plenty of glimpses to suggest that if he can avoid injury he can become world class IMO. But his latest set back seems to be stemming back to that bad challenge by Rakitic.

Not infuriating at all, we told his country he needed time to recover, they didn't listen, took him to Afcon and he reinjured himself in training.

      Not exactly QED is it?

I agree with this, there is no need to rush him back, lets get him fully fit this time.

Not a good record of staying healthy, is it? last year he spent almost 90 days sidelined with injuries and this season barely started he's already missed 5 games. Not sure what gives anyone confidence he can come back from this latest injury and stay healthy the rest of the season.
