I'm beginning to question if he will make it here. Another very uninspiring performance followed by what appears to be another injury.

Most of the senior players were a bit crap today with the exception of Origi and Joe.

All the senior players were poor for majority of the game. Can’t base it on a heavily rotated team when he played so well in the games before it.

As for the injury he just slipped, can happen to anyone.

Any news on his injury? My impression on him is he is still struggling to deal with the demands of this league. Hes very slight as it is, and I think the injury started 10 minutes earlier when he got a bit of a clattering on a 50/50.

Needs a run of games that I'm not sure we can give him with a fully fit selection of midfielders. Hes competing with Ox really for a midfield spot in games we may not need 3 work horses in midfield, but at the moment Ox looks to be the next cab off the rank.

Maybe give him a few games in the u-23 team to toughen up a bit? That's what used to happen,no?

Getting to the point now where if he doesn't step up to the plate soon (physically & performance-wise), we need to think about binning him off, as it's just been one false start after another thus far!

Naby to be assessed before tomorrow, re Klopp, so....must not be too serious this time.

Get a grips of what?!  It's been 15 months since he arrived (playing-wise) with a massive reputation, for big money, & being lauded as someone who was going to make a huge impact.

He's failed to do that for a host of reasons.  Unless it starts happening this season, how much longer do we persist before giving it up as a bad job?

Needs to take the bull by the horns. Think a special goal or assist will get him firing, lacking a bit of belief for me at the moment.

Needs a run of games to build his fitness, no where near the dynamo he was at Leipzig. Understandably ran out of steam in the second half.

He is a special talent just been so unlucky with injuries.

      Agreed.

He needs a solid run in the team to get up to speed. Similar to Ox.

Before his injury at the end of last season he was hitting the levels required, potentially could have gone up another level. But not to be.

A change in attitude and upping his levels in training will get him back in to the team.

A change in attitude?  What is that to do with getting injured ? Don't see much wrong with his attitude

Sorry but I am just not seeing it from Naby, I think we need to move him on. He's not a DM, he's not an AM and he's not particularly good at linking up the play so what the hell is the point in persisting with him. He's had plenty of games and plenty of time to acclimatise and prove himself but other than tiny little glimpses he has disappointed.

I'd sell him and go all out for Maddison.

He should continue getting a full game nearly every week. Hopefully this is the start of him really emerging with us.

      Absolute bollox.

Naby is a quality young player who has been unlucky with injuries here so far. If he gets a run of games he will show his worth. Lad has almost 4 years left on his contract ffs.
