Lallana, did well and without his pressing we would not have dominated as much as we did . Milner made at least two recovery tackles qualities which Keita clearly has not shown and that's why not selected

Really........ then how come in that first half they were running through our midfield at will?

Good solid performance.  The most important thing for Naby is to be injury free.  He needs to play like today when given his opportunities but the injuries have been really holding him back.   I'd rest him in midweek and play him against Watford.

F**k me some people cant be pleased with the attacking play and press yes there were holes but to put that solely on Lallana and Milner who were busy covering our FBs is sh*te

Calm down soft lad it’s an observation from the game and it’s factual.

Goal and an assist, not bad in his first start of the season.
      Keep that going Naby!
Dunno what Jürgen is feeding them, but I want some...

F**k I love it when he runs at pace at defenders. Almost looks like he's gliding when in full motion.

Happy as anyone on his success yesterday but needs to do this
      A- Against better opposition
B- On a more regular basis
To be really pushing the preferred  three Midfielders

Great to see Naby get on the scoresheet yesterday and the slide rule assist is the sort of thing he did week in week out in Germany. It's all about fitness with Naby, if he can stay fit for a few months we'll see the best to him.

Again though did Everton really run through our midfield or was that down to the tactics we used, allowing them onto us, then pinging the ball over them onto their back line which was shaky as F**k anytime Mane or Origi got near them.

Considering it's a tactic we use regularly, I'd say yer spot on.

If he stays injury free he will be one of our best midfielders.

I think he's got a ways to go before that can happen but he has the ability to be our best midfielder in my opinion. BUT for me he needs to:
      - Stay fit and get himself a run in the side
      - Get used to the speed of the EPL, he still seems to think he has more time on the ball than he actually does
      - Look after the ball a little bit better, he can be careless and get the side into trouble
      - Track midfield runners (compared to the rest of the middies he is bit lazy in this regard and Klopp won't stomach that so if he wants to play week in week out he'll have to work as hard as the rest)

He has all the ability you could want though, he can see a pass, he can glide past players effortlessly, he's technically excellent and physically he is quite quick, he's mobile and he can shoot. Just needs to stay fit and i'm sure all of the above will sort itself out.

funny how all these players are getting the Harry Kewel fitness regime around the time of a big final.
Naby is a massive bonus coming back now along with Shaq and Lallana the squad is really looking strong.Hopefully Joel will make it on the bench for Saturday.

I don't subscribe but the promo email for The Anfield Wrap mentioned that in their post-match discussion, they said Keita is someone whose style and play will bring results especially against our worst opposition. Wasn't sure what was meant by that.

      Did you happen to listen?
