Liverpool's injury woes just keep coming at the moment. Naby Keita was expected to return to the starting line-up against Manchester United on Monday evening, but he wasn't even on the bench as the midfielder was forced to pull out with another set-back.

And now the Guinea international will undergo a further scan to assess the damage.

Goal journalist Neil Jones Tweeted: "Naby Keita to undergo a further scan on a muscle injury today, but the Liverpool midfielder looks to be facing another spell on the sidelines."

Not a great situation to be in right now - he would have had to given a stellar season to get a new contract

Not surprised by the late injury at all and I suspect he'll be out for a couple of months now.

Probably should have got rid a couple of years ago in all honesty given the injury record.

this injury problem is not just Naby is it so WTF is going on. You cant carry 3 or 4 players who are constantly injured or out of form our squad does not have that quality in depth

I think we wanted him to be our Kante from Chelsea but for whatever reason it hasnt worked out. Anybody know how many games he has missed for his Country would be an interesting stat.
