Dominic King: Desperate luck for Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain. The injury he’s sustained is similar to the one that Jordan Henderson suffered against Brighton; it’s going to mean a lay-off of 6-8 weeks, possibly longer

Ffs! I mean the lad is always dicking around in those  training videos. Not the best look given the amount of time he’s spent on the treatment table.

Maybe he’s all about graft and dedication outside of it but still gives of a frustrating image.

He should put on a monk's cloak and be totally silent and expressionless in all future training videos. Training is for the rest of the team to enjoy, not those who have a history of injuries.

The biggest clown in all of those videos is Virgil Van Dijk. He doesn't seem to have an issue with getting injured. Unless one of the injuries is Ox getting stabbed in the eye because he was running around with a pair of scissors when the coaching staff told him not to, I don't think his sense of fun is the reason he's getting hurt, and thus there's no reason for him not to join in with the team banter, etc.

At least it might mean that Klopp stops trying to play him as a forward, silver lining.  in all seriousness I wish him a speedy recovery but out of all our players to get injured Ox is the one that bothers me the least.

      Agreed.

I like the Ox but I think Jones and Minamino will be better options in attacking midfield.

I don't see Ox as more than an impact sub in future.

Why can't Minamino and Rhian be used as options?
