      40 mill.

For what ?  Still don't get it .

I really must be missing something with AOC.

I disagree, I'm starting to see how Ox will be a very good player for us, he is finally starting to adapt to our style of play and you can see his confidence is growing.

Great show of class from him today. He got better the longer the game went and his presence in the mid field is what we have been lacking. His pace takes pressure off Moreno to attack and sets us up better defensively. So excited he had a good game, I hope he slots right back after the break.

I've seen him play RWB, CM and RF and he's been okay each time. Not set the world alight but he's been ticking along and will get better.

People need to remember that for the most part £40 million is what £15/20 million was only two years or so ago and a player that can do a job in so many positions in a side with aspirations like we have is well worth that amount.

Interesting listening to the boss pre match on radio Merseyside about ox being eased into the side ,he went on to mention about him needing to adapt,I hope to see him get many more starts for us as he done really well for us today.

Starting to blend into the team and his pace will always be a asset.

To think of the team we have now to the one placed plods under Rodgers.

Delighted to see him get his goal today and that he is now finding his way into the managers thoughts. Once Lallana is back we we will have some frightening options in our Attacking mids.

Damn, that was a good game from the Ox. A very Bobby Firmino performance, did the dirty work today. One of the best performances by a midfielder this season...... To bad Klopp will sit him for a month outside of the last 3 minutes of a game here and there.

He worked hard today and played his part cleverly in that first goal. Not going to light the world up but a good grafter and good player to fall back on when Mane isn't available. Definitely one of the better players today. In all honesty we had no presence in the midfield (surprise, surprise) or ability in goal once again so you can't complain about a 1-1 draw. AOO like Salah deserved to be on a winning side today though.

Another good game today IMO. Best player of the first half if I’m honest. I called it before he got here that he would be a good player for us and we should go get him. Though it’s only a few games I’m going to go ahead and say “I told ya so”. ( I gotta get them in while I can, haha). In all honesty though he will probably only ever be a good squad player, but it’s those kind of guys we have been missing for the past few years. He’s a welcome for sore eyes IMO. Keep getting better kid.

P.S: I was also big Robo 2-4 months before he got here. My best friend rates him well (Hull fan). I hope I’m right on that one too although his lack of squad time is alarming me.  :'(

Still expecting more value from 40million.
Imho doesn't take enough responsibility, certainly not when the chips are down and we need guys to show.
Good in patches is about all I can say.
Need him to start making a DIFFERENCE in games.

Tough, slow start to his Liverpool career but he's been an assertive force in midfield lately.

      Fantastic today.

Loved the way he stepped in to handle the Coutinho question in the post match interview too.

Great performance tonight. Really impressed with that was industrial, creative and just never stopped. Think with a couple more starts under his belt he could really be an asset to our midfield.

He seems to have everything in his game, get can contribute defensively and can make the a difference going forward.

      Keep it up lad

Just saw the interview, I agree, he handle do that like an old pro might have done, was captainlike.

Played well today, not sure deserved the motm award which was generously from Alan Smith but he had a very good game and I think what will impress Klopp the most is the way he counter-pressed. That's the first thing you have to get right if you wanna stay in the team!

Klopp is bringing him along, I can already see the progress from the Ox. Excited to have him in our squad and even more excited to see where he is in a year or so.

Some of that pressing was breath taking, particularly the challenge to win the ball and slice his shot. So much power and directness... love that.

Alwaya rated him and very glad he’s now showing the quality.

Should start at Arsenal for me.
