      Awful for Ox.

We need a quality CM along with Keita now in the Summer if Ox is injured long term.

That's his season and probably the WC gone for him. Gutted for us, gutted for the lad.

Huge blow, I would have taken a 1-0 lead and have had Ox fit tbh, he is that important for us  :(

That didn’t look good, hopefully it’s better than it looked,  we’re going to miss him if not.

Never know, KDB made a miracle recovery when he looked to have been completely destroyed by (can’t remember who), off on a stretcher looking in a bad way but was back next game.

He's been such an important player in this second half of the season, I'm really sad for him if he does miss the rest of the season (and the World Cup).

Gutted for him. Had been improving exponentially for the past few games.
Hope it's not as serious as it looks.  :-[

Massive loss, has been outstanding in the second half of the season.  Hope it's not as bad as it looked.

Feel for him with the games we have coming up and the world cup around the corner too.

If Can doesn't find fitness then the midfield 3 of Wijnaldum, Hendo and Milner is about all we have left now.

Absolutely gutted for Ox. Had a great 2nd half of the season and was lining up for an important WC.

So I saw a picture of him leaving anfield last night, passenger seat in his girlfriends car, the fact that he wasn’t leaving in a ambulance or in the hospital has to be a positive sign??

      Not really.

He wouldn't be having any scan last night because of the swelling

He would be in today regardless

It's a knee injury not a head injury or anything that would need immediate care. The swelling needs to reduce before the scan

If you  do your ACL, you can theoretically walk around on it, I've seen this. But you also risk doing more damage to it by doing this. That's what I thought about when they sent the stretcher over to carry him around the park.

The way he landed with his leg at an angle reminded me a little bit of when Sadio was injured last April. My hope there is that Sadio was back for preseason training.

Somebody mentioned Ox might not be back before Christmas and if it is serious ligament damage, that unfortunately is also a real possibility.

Is that the account that always tips the lineups correctly?

It’s a bit up and down mate and takes a bit of hammer at times.......but all the “itk / insider” ones do tbh......

Not sure why they’d take a flyer on this one without some chat......

I don't expect it to be anything but bad. My thoughts move to how do we deal with this significant hole in the squad in the short term and longer term. Any ideas?
