Itā€™s a fair shout, not expecting him to take Salahs spot, but the idea of having him and Shaq as ā€œ2nd choiceā€ is a very exciting. Itā€™s just more quality to come in to the squad when we need to push on.

Did he play that high up the pitch? I thought he was part of the midfield 3?

Give him a run out in the final few minutes of the CL final when we are leading by 3 goals against Real Madrid, having already won the league in mid April. :-)

Even if it's just for the last montg, could be very important.

I hate to crush your hopes but Ox won't be a factor this season. He'll need at least 10 games to get it back. Remember how long it took Lallana? And Adam's injury was cake to Ox'.

Incredible how far he has come already. Thought we'd only see him back next season to be honest, but he seems to be moving freely. I don't think it'll be February, but perhaps March or around that time. He still has quite a long way to go in terms of training with the group in high intensity and then getting match rhythm etc.

Canā€™t see it happening personally. Think it will only be cameo roles he plays this season if anything, that was one hell of an injury and despite how he looks in odd clips of ball work or running, thatā€™s a lot different to actually playing matches where he will be getting clattered into and be in a much more physical environment. Hopefully he will return to the form he was showing when he got injured but lots of players have failed to come back the same, on an injury far less worse than his. Iā€™ve fu**ed the ACL in both of my knees and that was bad enough, couldnā€™t imagine how it would have been to basically have your knee explode and injure pretty much everything in there.
Sounds like a doom and gloom post but I donā€™t mean for it to :D
