Could really do with the Ox in the league right now, the type of player we are lacking..

Looks like rhian Brewster is on the mend too. Need to be eased back gently,  understand the desire to see the ox but people have to be realistic

I think while we wait we need to get Keita playing like the Ox, making darting runs forward etc, saw a bit of that against the Hammers but to little to late.

Nothing like a fine morale booster than seeing images of this guy back in training. Cannot wait to see him back on the field.

I don't get it. He plays again (even if without contact) which means he must be able to run (to build endurance & speed) for weeks. Why then the forecast for April? The dude looks like he needs 2 more weeks and then 2-3 weeks of games already (10-25 min. to get into rhythm again).

Great to see Ox back in training, certainly give the side a boost, at such a critical stage of the season.

He will be a great addition to the squad when he is fit but lets just hope he is fit and healthy for the pre season and beyond

I agree with you, if he's able to jump about and run then surely its just about fitness and that surely can't take 8 weeks? Perhaps its the non contact thing but even that doesn't really make much sense.

It won't be April. They just don't want to pressure it by saying February or whatever

If he's back in team training, see the effects that has on him I'd imagine he will be back in a match day squad in the next 2-3 weeks if there is no negative reaction

If he could give us 10 or 20 mins coming off the bench from March to the end of the season he would be such an asset and a very good option if we need to press forward.

Awesome. I see him ready for some limited game action in 2 weeks, maybe one month away from being a real factor again if things go well.

2 weeks and a month?! Haha you must be kidding? He’s only just started to take part in the warm up with the team.

Maybe you’re the doctor who said I could play as soon as I did after doing my ACL and before it was fully healed back to full strength...only ended up having 2 further surgeries as a result of playing again too soon. So I’m sure Ox, who’s knee essentially exploded will be fine in 2 weeks because you’ve seen a video of him doing a light warm up with the group...

If he’s back in the time frame you say then I will be very, very surprised.
Mid April before he makes an appearance IMO. Being ready for full training is different to being ready for match day where the opponent won’t be holding back at all going into a challenge.
After such a long injury, can’t see Klopp taking any chances.

But I’m not a doctor and none of us really know what the current situation is.

just ease him over the rest of the season with some sub appearance when ready just forget about him playing full games. Apart from anything its very unlikely he will find any form after such a long lay off he can treat all of this as a long pre season.

Doesn’t matter if he makes the number of games to qualify for a medal, the club can request more anyway.

Few appearances with the U23s so I still don’t think it will be until April we see him.
