Doesn’t matter if he makes the number of games to qualify for a medal, the club can request more anyway.

Few appearances with the U23s so I still don’t think it will be until April we see him.

Not the same really is it?

Ultimately I think he’d be delighted to make 1 cameo appearance and the club request a medal given he was meant to be out until the early part of next season.

nor is giving someone a winners medal when they have done f**k all to earn it, sort of similar to Terry getting dressed up in the players kit to lift a trophy, its a bit phony!

He'll get plenty more winners medals in the years to come anyway ;-)

yes but 1 minute per game doesn't really mean he contributes much does it? Its still a bit phoney and I don't like stuff like that , I'm the player wouldn't either.

He contributes ever day he is at Melwood he is I understand hugely popular with everyone there so I reckon most of the lads will be more than happy for him to get a medal as the whole squad will do including Mignolet.

so should the tea-lady also get a medal then? I mean seriously when it gets to that levels it gets silly. I want him back playing well and contributing to the team but I don't want to shoe horn him with a few minutes here and there just to give him a medal he hasn't really earned, I'm sure he wouldn't want that either.

As much as we need his creative spark right now, I wouldn't want to rush him back.

Having him fully fit for the run-in is more important than rushing him back for a few games to bring back that creative spark, it's going to take him a little time to find his rhythm again anyway.

When he is back though and playing again as cliched as it sounds, it will be like having a new signing.

You don't have the information Klopp has, nor have you access to his medical records and seen him train everyday, what makes you think he isn't 100% fit? You are just a bloke on the internet making a wild guess.

Looks like one bloke on the internet knew more than the other bloke on the internet.

“He has been training with the first-team squad for several weeks – “70% of team training then he leaves a bit early to do something else and the things he needs,” Klopp said last week."

      oops.

A sensible intelligent person would wait for news before gobbing off and showing his ignorance.

Excellent news. So happy for the Ox. He must be chomping at the bit, we miss his creativity and fizz. Bring him back slowly and surely. Klopp is good at gauging a players readiness to come back in.

      Excellent news. Welcome news.

No offense, but saying Klopp's decisions "cost us" is just nonsense.

Until you have the same information Klopp does, have coached the team in tactics for a match, have access to the players medical records, and have seen them every day in training, you're just a bloke on the internet making a wild guess.

Have a think about my reply to RC9 ;)

And no offence, I think it would be nonsense of you to question pundits, coaches, managers, players etc.... especially, P.Neville! Remember, you don't have the same information, nor the years of experience and qualifications he does! ;)

Think about someone trying to points score with utter drivel, and ending up in a massive self own.
Hmm, OK, I've thought about it.
      It was hilarious.

Frankly, anyone that holds up Phil Neville as a bastion of footballing knowledge, needs psychiatric help because they are delusional.
