Robbo said he was coming in with a smile on his face everyday throughout his stint on the sidelines. Got to admire the positivism and the determination. Won't get too excited just yet, this type of injury can take the edge off a player's game for the long term, but he's young enough and seemingly positive enough to recover fully.

Made up he's back, like a new brilliant new signing.

I think he’s going to have a part to play in this tie if we are to advance.

Set to sign a 1 year contract extension and at the same wage I think, doesn’t surprise me really given he’s lost a year through injury.

I would love for him to but personally won’t expect anything from him whilst the cameo looked promising it’s such a horrible injury to rehabilitate from. I’ve written this season for the Ox off but if he could participate I would by super chuffed.

I was never really impressed with him at Arsenal, and was surprised when Klopp went for him.
I couldn't have been more wrong, and I'm glad to say it.
What an addition to the squad he was.

      Slight muscle injury

Often happens after such a long time out and your start training at intensity again

Change of number, will be 15 as of next season. Will be personally reimbursing those who have already gotten/ordered the new shirt with 21.

As much as it'a a nice gesture, and it is, this is a bit of a madness lately.
Fowler and Gerrard changed numbers and it was alright.

Guess it's more indicative of how player numbers in shirts sales is now a big deal for kids.

Ox has picked up a calf injury. He is playing through the pain for now, but he went missing for a big part of the game last night. As good as he is, we cant ignore the fact that his career has been riddled with little injuries. Coming of a big one I pray his body responds. We NEED him to be not just healthy, but good. A lot rides on his presence this year

Calf injuries are extremely common after a long lay off post knee injury but ususlly sort themselves out so Ox should be fine.

How long it will take before he's 100% though is anyone's guess.

Really hope we don't start the season with a mini injury crisis.

Calf injuries are not the worst if there is not tear in the muscle. He will be fine in a few days. He looks fresh and eager to impress again :)

Personally think he looks really sloppy in possession atm
If he wants to be our CAM he has to be clean with the ball

Think he is trying a bit too hard at times which is perfectly understandable.  Plus it's preseason which is the best time to do it.

I would wait until we see him on decent pitches. He is having calf problems which must be related to his long term absence .
I wouldn't bank on him being a regular until after Christmas Jürgen is very good at getting long term injury players back
