At least it might mean that Klopp stops trying to play him as a forward, silver lining.  in all seriousness I wish him a speedy recovery but out of all our players to get injured Ox is the one that bothers me the least.

      Agreed.

I like the Ox but I think Jones and Minamino will be better options in attacking midfield.

I don't see Ox as more than an impact sub in future.

Why can't Minamino and Rhian be used as options?

According to Pearce he's not training outside yet so is several weeks away from game fitness.

Don't think we'll see him on the pitch again until next year.

Not sure he'll ever fully get over that knee injury unfortunately.

Reminds me of the situation a couple years ago where both Gomez and Matip got hurt vs Burnley than after both were suppose to be out for 4-6 weeks but instead Matip was out 4-6 weeks while Gomez was out for 4-6 months. The club under Klopp really keep supporters in the dark about timelines for players and Ox seems to be the same way.

When he did it they described it as the same type of injury Hendo was out with after Brighton in the run in last season

He does seem to be similar to Sturridge in that he needs to be 100% before he will even consider pulling on the shirt.

I think he offers that something a little bit different. Hopefully he gets a good injury free run

I was so happy when we signed him, and so gutted when he went off in that CL semi final. Hasn't been the same since and sadly now, he just isn't good enough for us. Harsh thing to say maybe, but its probably the truth. Definitely lost some pace and just can't seem to stay fit. Tries to do too much in the time that he gets, and that's understandable. Probably need to move on from him in the summer.

I know he is coming back from injury and will take some time to get match fit but boy he stunk the the place out yesterday, luckily for him Trent had a even bigger stinker.

Just looked so lost offering no midfield solidity or attacking presence almost as if he didn’t know what he had been asked to do.

and yet when fit Klopp will always find some way to shoehorn him into the team, Klopp sure does have his favourites.

Ox is simply not good enough, same as Origi.

Nonsense.  There's literally no evidence to show Jürgen tries to always play Chamberlain.

      Underwhelming.

Came as a big signing with league experience and a poor injury record, the only thing he has maintained is the injury record. Really wanted him to kick on but doesn’t look like he has the ticker for the fight. I know it can be difficult to be thrown into the mix after long injury layoffs but it’s hard to give him that as an excuse when others like Shaq in the same situation slot straight in and perform at a good level. Shitting out of tackles, head down, and hunched shoulders make him look genuinely disinterested.

It's always taken him half a dozen games to get back up to speed.
