Only player I never want to see playing for us again no matter how healthy he is. My reason is I fear that any of his goal or assist or key pass or just running around then encourage some idiot at LFC to extend his contract again. Seriously I'm fear really !

The clips I saw of the Derby game he looked lively...gifted player with more than his fare share of bad luck... IMO

No idea why he is getting games over Carvalho, clearly finished at this level unfortunately due to injuries taking their toll.

      Shop window?

I agree though. If it was me he'd be one of the last players I'd pick.

      Anonymous, offered absolutely nothing.

Couldn't believe he looked annoyed at coming off. Would have hooked him after the first 10 and got Cavalho on.

No wonder we've signed Cody. Jürgen can see that the Ox just isn't up to it anymore, like Si said - shop window job.

Not sure we'd get much for him to be honest.

He did not offer anything in the last 2 matches but he is not playing his best position to be fair.

      Off in January?

Never the same player since that injury.

So sad to see to be honest as he seemed to be that goalscoring threat in that number 8 role but wasn't to be

There will always be a bit of a 'what might have been' with his Liverpool career if he didn't get that injury against Roma. As Jürgen said, he was pretty much undroppable at that time. Unfortunately the team had kind of moved on by the time he was back although he still made some big contributions - off the top of my head I remember big goals at Bournemouth and West Ham when we won the league and also at home to Southampton. Also spoke really well in interviews.

Hope he gets a good move and regular game time.

I hope he signs for a team that can give him a run of games in the starting 11, maybe somewhere in the middle or lower half of premier league. He has the quality to be a really good asset to a team. After his injury he never got back his mental and physical match fitness with us.

Some newly promoted team can hopefully give him that. He does need that regular starter role to get into a groove and perform well which he obviously was not going to get here. Pre-injury he was awesome but that really derailed his career.
