How do they make a profit when they don't take any money out of the club?

So they run us as a charity ?

It is a difficult market for top players at the moment.  It is hard to predict just how much a player is worth go for.  It is going to be a lot of deals in the last few days.  I think it is important that the likes of Barca spent that big lump of cash along with the half a dozen or so clubs that are spending big.

This literally makes no sense. You know they don't pocket money that's earmarked for transfers right? I mean you do realize that right? They can't run the club as their personal bank account, that's not how this all works.

They should go immediately to Southampton, apologise for what they did approaching VVD directly and tell Southampton, VVD wants to come to us, and name their price. Then soddin' pay it.

After what they have said about Coutinho, they are going to look like right Cuntinhos themselves if he leaves.

So do you not count the £50million spent on Keita? Because you fit the bill of someone who will say 'he doesn't count this season because he'll play next year' and then next year rolls around and you'll say 'he doesn't count for this window because we bought him last season'

Haha funny if he does, in all honesty though as good as it is to tie him down.

I'm counting him as the first signing of next summer, and the good thing is barring injury (fingers crossed) he will have a full preseason and won't have another summer of speculation.

      Fair enough mate.

I'm putting him down for a signing this season as I think we wouldn't have been able to do the deal next summer.
