Tbf here Moreno isn't even the worst of the defenders.

      Ah I know.
My head is just wrecked watching this and knowing the club made no effort to sign a CB after VVD went tits up.

The least I expect from any Liverpool side is to show some balls.

This team, today, have simply capitulated, and it's not good enough.

To be fair most of the players didn't want to play. They gave up sometime in the second half. Millionaire losers.

      As did Klopp.

      As did several fans here.

      Horror show.
      Klaven and Moreno against City.
Highlights how badly LFC f**ked up that area over the summer.

Moreno isn't at fault here. Klavan and Matip are and the transfer committee.

Nice to know we can rely on our defensive play when we are down to 10 men.

The worst response to playing with 10 men I've seen from Liverpool.

Now we'll just sit back and wait for LFC Offal boy Mignolet to offer his remorse online and say how 'we wipl learn from this'.

Who would u give over 3 mate, seriously? Possibly Salah but he was the only one who looked like scoring, missed 2 chances he should have put away, then gets taken of for OX when he still looked like the only one who could score.

Where is your DM, where is your DM Klopp??? 3rd year and you did no even realise you needed a world class DM and yet persist with captain marvellous hendo and Wijnaldum and the slow Can. This is EPL not the slow Bundeslique.

Imagine that 40m going towards Howedes and Krychowiak......

This squad will have to show up stronger than that this season. Going to be a long season with CL football and we can't fold like a bag of sh*t whenever we lose a man.

Got to stay in the game and look to nick something at the end in those types of games.  Far too open in the system and very poor individually too.

      Not exactly what I meant....

Going to be hard to forget that game for a while. There's very little to say to defend anybody out there in a 5-0 loss. So no point for ratings today because the positives just aren't there to justify it, all poor just some worse than others.

Trent got to experience a horror show today, a real eye-opener for the young lad playing against a devastating City on that side, thought they got so much joy out there that Trent needs to work harder on his defensive game because he was thoroughly exposed and a liability today.

Klavan had one of those Klavan days that just seem to happen. Plays well a couple of times and then just falls apart.

Mignolet, useless, anyone who mentions the Stones or Aguero save really are clutching at straws. A cardboard cutout would have saved those, the others he simply got nowhere near any.

Gini, thought he did his best work when he got subbed off.

Can, slightly worse than Gini because he was able to strut his funky stuff for the full 90. Embarrassing the pair of those.

Was really looking forward to this match and thought it would be high scoring game from both sides. Completely ruined by the red card.  :f_steam:

Wont have that, that £40mill had a slight deflection on the 5th goal, he's made a real impact.

Spot F***ing on. No leadership, no balls, they just gave up.

Why didn't we just put 9 players outside our F***ing box, like every other team do to us?

We did not improve on our central defenders. We signed an inexperienced left back and decided to play a hopeless player instead. We're relying on kids at right back. Our central midfield needed a boost, which is only coming next season.

We're not as bad as that 5-0, but it highlighted all the weaknesses we've failed to address. Yet somehow we did a brilliant job in the transfer market, because it is so very difficult to sign a centre back who's better than Ragnar Klavan...

To think, despite 2 not counting, he actually picked the ball out his net 7 times today...

Could be 5-0 or 10-0. Most heart wrenching is that the players gave up! WTF?

I agree. Nothing against Ox and not his fault today, but did we need to spend so much on an attacking backup ? Ridiculous.

I probably wouldn't argue with your 3 rating, Aussie, just the 'Hang your heads in shame'.   Yes, it was poor from the sending off onwards but I think Jürgen has to take some responsibility for not adapting the team and tactics to being a man short, and for his team selection.  I'd ease up on TAA as he's green and has a lot to learn defensively, and City to their credit, exploited him.

As somebody said, its one to write off now.  We're better than that. but it shows the cracks beneath the surface.
