Strange game. Played at walking pace for large parts. Villa were really sh*te but you can only beat what's in front of you.

Dom MOTM. Gomez was good apart from 1 slip. Mac good. Mo has definitely not downed tools. Darwin was pretty unlucky not to score. He keeps making great runs and will score plenty - our goal threat dropped when he went off.

We are looking good. Get to the close of the Saudi transfer window intact and we will be in the hunt this season.

      Well that was F***ing easy.

Thought we were in for a hard afternoon. Thanks for the extra training session Villa.  :D

      Some really outstanding performances.

Our midfield is purring again and I'm F***ing loving it. Dom and Mac F***ing quality.

Oh yeah Ali what a F***ing save...week in, week out he comes up with the goods and my God, doesn't he look sexy with his new hair cut  :lmao:

Very decent 3  0 win against Aston Villa, especially with a clean sheet, going into the International break, which we could well of done without, now we are running into a bit of form.

Still we should be ready to go against Wolves in less than a fortnight's time.

Imagine this team with Virgil, Konate and Gravenberch in it. 😂

Smallest squad in the league but a lot of young hungry players and that midfield engine upgrade will have Liverpool in the title fight. No doubt. COYR
      Don’t forget Thiago.

I don’t think we’ve really appreciated how good business it was getting both of those players in.

Well chuffed for Gomez, if he can stay fit and have a good season it will take pressure of Virg & Konate.

At this point I'm taking any Thiago appearances as a bonus.

When he is fit, we will be able to manage his minutes as were so strong in MF now, so he may actually end up playing more than we think. l o l

On the stats radars he is the perfect fit along with Mac Allister and Szoboszlai.
I'll guess we'll have to wait and see.

Still one of the best MF in the world, love watching him play. Such a shame he keeps picking up wee injuries.
