Go back and review Jürgen's quotes

Oh sorry yes when he kicked the turf ( ground) for a minute thought you said grass which wouldn't really hurt would it

this nonsense about touchamei whatever his name is being our only target is bollox. Of course top players will have many clubs after them and if we are going into these negotiations in an arrogant manner then we will get what we deserve a croc on loan from Italy how is that working out.
Its never FSG's fault is it its either nobody is available, or they were priced out of the deal.
Operating at the top end of the market has always been difficult especially now with the influence of Agents pursuing the best financial deals rather than the best place for a player to improve and be successful money now is at the heart of most decisions especially transfers.
and the fact our midfield in particular is either injury ridden or out of form needs some real honesty which I dont think we have had so far.

I did say grass. And so did Jürgen. Read into that what you will.

The fact the Ox and Keita's contracts are up and we'll get nothing for them is really hard to understand tbh.
Whatever about AOC, Jürgen's 'kicked grass' comments said a LOT about what he thought of him.
And yet they were never sold.
There's an argument to say that they weren't fit enough to buy - tells it all really.

IMO problem is their wage, no club would pay what they get at LFC.

Well doesn't look like either of them were looking to leave anyway 'to get more football'.  Pickup the check and swim in the pool.
That's a bit harsh - wouldn't put them in the Alberto Aquilani category - but we really need guys putting in a shift in the middle and as usual they are nowhere to be seen.

This argument unravels pretty quickly when you remember that the player turned down PSG as well as Liverpool - money did not play a part in the player's decision because he could have earned a lot more in Paris

Is right!! Don't know why we haven't sold him and replaced him with someone else already. Imagine Curtis not being a world class midfielder in his first game back. The nerve!!!

What are you judging him on then? Because he's been injured for about 12 years now and just got back in. I can't believe he doesn't have the nerve to be 100% locked in and firing. We should just sell him and buy someone else.

The Melo ticket was a nonsense, might've been bought in to keep Naby company, 3 card brag with The Ox joining in. I mean shouldn't have a pop as they are genuine pro players but feckin' hell..

Maybe add Thiago as well as he has missed more games than both of these since 20/21

      100%.

Just because Jürgen waited 6 months or so for Southampton to get over their hissy fit over him tapping van dijk up.

So Tchouameni didn’t want to join us. Oh no. What on earth are we going to do then? He’s our only target and there aren’t any other players in world football who can improve our midfield apart from him. As some posters say on here, klopp has proven he will wait for his man so I suppose we will just have to sit tight until his contract expires at Madrid and hope he joins us then. Meanwhile, let’s give Milner another four year deal.

Or maybe, just maybe, we will sell a couple of more players in the summer. Raise a bit of cash. And another midfielder will come in then. One we could have just signed this summer instead but chose not too as we watch our team decline and struggle for top four.

Such a massive f*ck up not to strengthen. We should have been far more ruthless in windows gone by and shouldn't have to sacrifice a whole season because we are 'waiting for the right player' or hoping in vain that we can get one more storming season out of aging pros or for youngsters to suddenly bloom.

Hand on heart you could get rid of every single one of them.

      But we can't.

If we make the wrong moves in CM in the summer were fu**ed.

The fact that we would keep Milner about Fabinho and Henderson speaks volumes about those two players.

Might as well try Melo on Wednesday, I’m sure he can’t be any worse than the current incumbents.
