      Of course we created chances mate they are the worst team we have played in Europe in a very long time.

      They were pulling up with cramp and hamstrings all over the place from a clear lack of fitness and work in training.

      We will hammer them at Anfield no doubt about it, but for a front foot team like us, an easier away game you couldn't wish to play.

      No positives in that game, we were found out up front and caught napping again by a very poor goalkeeper who will struggle to forge any career for himself at any level.

      Mate you can run them down all you like, I've seen the best teams in the world go to Russia and struggle to get results so I'm not going to moan about how we completely dominated the game and should have filled our boots.

      Fair enough blame the lack of clinical finishing, but it's all 4 of our lads who had similar chances tonight to take the lead in that game, sometimes it's just one of those days.

      Objectively we absolutely battered them to the point they were begging for the full time whistle, that'll do for me for an away game in the CL.

      So true well said - they were awful - their fans were delighted with a home draw

      Pooor poor reaction from Karius. Shoud have saved that. Bad bad miss by Salah, how many times more this will happen.

      Reminds me Raheem Sterling. Can't connect to any ball to save his life.

      We were the better team and we should have won.  Good free kick from them.  Good team goal for us but too many missed chances.

      2 points behind Sevilla with 4 games to go.  Not ideal but not terrible.  Frustrated more than disappointed.

      Coulda, woulda, shoulda. Football is a simple game. Put the ball in the back of their net and stop them doing that to you. We didn't do either well enough. Sorry, not having a go at you but it's the same story each week.

      I'll tell you if we can't take 6 points against Maribor then we will f**k ourselves. SURELY we'll get 6 points against Maribor? SURELY?!

      Exactly!
      People are taking that for granted. Remember Basel? Remember fiorentina? Of course Maribor aren't the same, but, it's not that we turn up and get 3 pts especially with problems both up front and at the back.

      They must be the worst team I've seen in the Champions league in years tho. They drew with Mariboo or whatever they're called as well, so they must be sh!te too.

      Seriously if we don't get out of this group we should give up.

      Thought Henderson and Moreno had good games. Aside from that hard to find positives.

      Because we weren't good enough

      No.

      It's because we wasted a half dozen simple chances.

      We are more than good enough to win these games.

      Weve no right at all to assume anything in the next 2 games v Maribor. The only assumption id make at this point is that theyll score in both games and their keeper will turn into Pat Jennings for the 2 nights

      Our story under Klopp so far has been one of not getting the result we deserve. So we have 2 points in this competition which should be 6.

      We have a lot less points in the league than what on balance of play we deserve too.

      That was the same last year.

      It's a terrible habbit to have to be unlucky all of the time, but I happen to think the reason behind it is more to do with the quality we have at both ends.

      No top class striker and no top class goalkeeper.

      The midfield decides who will dominate the game but what happens in  both boxes dictates who wins the game.

      Finishing is laughable for a team in CL.

      Our No9's can't score in a brothel.

      Familiar story from us - better side, but didn't win due to wastefulness at one end and mistakes at the other.

      Players of note:

      TAA - had a good game, carried a threat going forward all game and defended well too;

      Hendo - not spectacular, but controlled the midfield;

      Firmino - looked knackered. Touch was off throughout and disappeared almost completely in the 2nd half. Strange decision to bring off Mane for Sturridge rather than Roberto. We didn't need to rest Mane as he is suspended in the league, and he stil looked fresh compared with Firmino.

      Ox - a midweek game where you would think we needed to rotate, and he still didn't feature.

      Karius - his attempt at saving their goal just confirmed my existing feelings about the guy. The pundits were talking about him not moving his feet quickly enough, which was true, but what got me was that he didn't fully extend his body trying to make the save. Or if did, he needs to see a physio, cos my near 80 year old dad can stretch more than that. He just looks so unconvincing as a shot stopper;

      Coutinho - MOTM. The decision to keep him is already proving right. Has come back in sharp and , more importantly, hungry. The pundits who were queuing up to say we had to sell him and "you can't keep an unhappy player" will no doubt be queueing up to acknowldge they were talking sh*te.

      Back 4 actually were ok, but were only asked questions for about 10 minutes after their goal by a basically poor side.

      Went with Trent. For a young player in a tough atmosphere thought he done nothing wrong at all. Henderson done nl more than what should be the minimum expected of him.

      Funny isn't it how we all see it differently - thought Trent had a reasonable second half but was pretty skittish in the first.

      Great prospect still.

      Though it was the player's decision making that really let them down. We had a strong team out there and didn't take our chances.

      Agreed, but taking Mane off and leaving Firmono on made no sense at all.

      Starting to think we should consider giving Solanke a run of games. Another thing I noticed, not sure if anyone else did, but It felt as if Coutinho was doing more defensive work than Can.

      Anyway, Hendo MOTM, he mopped up well and was more defensive than usual which was nice to see.

      We should have threw the 50 odd mil we wasted on OX and Robertson towards Aubameyang instead of pissing it away on people who don't play.

      Probably losing over half a mil a month on their wages too.

      F***ing shocking business.

      Firmino had an absolute stinker. w*nk touch, w*nk crosses and w*nk shots. Those calling for Sturridge to play up front the last few weeks were also disarmed alarmingly of just how poor he was when he came on.

      Not at all. Not in the slightest. Those of us who have been calling for Sturridge were proven right again.

      The All Mighty Firmino Believers were embarrassed.

      Id take his age into account and tge atmosphere there. Thought he done well not spectacular but well. Huge prospect.

      To me Henderson only done what id expect from him on a poor day for him
