A gentle reminder that it you made excuses for the lack of summer business and are complaining now, bottle this feeling for future transfer windows.

Plenty of people making plenty of excuses.

This squad was never strong enough for what the club was attempting to do.

7 games in and we've already drawn to Watford, Burnley and f**king Newcastle.

      And been smashed 5-0.

Well very poor by us. Can only think whatever Jürgen trains and sets up for, clearly isn't working. Changes needed to system and players.

Simple. FSG out, we need to spend money to compete and they aren't willing. Lovren, Mignolet, Henderson, Moreno are never going to win anything. They are average at best.

We are getting worse every game.
If it weren't for Coutinho's brillance in the last 3 games it could have been a lot worse.
Don't see how we can scrap a point off United with this lot.

Imagine when Cou is gone next season?

We were doing OK when his back was 'injured'.

      Just leaving that thought here...

Very little shocks me in football anymore and neither did that.

Sturridge is sh*te, cancel the mans contract. Firmino needs at the very least more competition than that.

Solankie has miles more threat then the pair put together but he's still raw.

Sign a F***ing keeper, defender and and striker. The dearer the F***ing better. Overpay by 50 milliom ech if you have to, but improve this team.

      F**k THE LOT OF THEM.

Utterly pathetic from the manager down.

Agreed. But what about those above the manager? Michael Edwards perhaps? Or will that gawky lickspittle c**t hide behind his desk just like he did when FSG pulled the lever on Rodgers?

Very disappointing.  From loads of missed chances we seemed to have now gone too far the other way in being too hesitant.

Having said that, we did score the goal but couldn't even hold the lead till half time.  We should be good enough that when we have an off day we win that 1-0 today.

Well fans who wanted Firmino dropped, Jürgen listened.

No doubt they'll now slate Jürgen for the performance and everything else involved.

Not good enough, simple as that and I'll agree when they finally settle with "no matter who started we should win that game". I agree, but to do so I think the changes needed making earlier because with Solanke and Firmino on we looked far better.

Coutinho will get plenty of plaudits for his goal, but other than that he didn't do enough for how good he is (still looked better than most). Wijnaldum didn't do anything, Gomez was complete w*nk and we did, no matter how many people want to hang it on Matip's head, get a large slice of poor luck for their goal. That didn't stop us going and scoring at the other end to rectify that luck though and we just missed too many good chances again. We didn't create as we have previously but we had our most creative player on the bench, but Sturridge missing his sitter, AOC missing the diving header and I also think we should have had at least 1 pen but none of that will really matter as I think sh*t is about to be lost by a few.

      Leave you to that lads.

Moving forward if we're going to drop Firmino again then please let it be Solanke who gets the nod, lad is a top player in the making without question.

We seemed to have reached our equilibrium which unfortunately is bang average at best.

Two managers at the other end of the East Lancs Road have had one season to identify the players they need to progress their teams, our manager seems to have hit a bit of a brick wall, even Mane has lost confidence and Salah just looks headless. Solanke and Firmino I doubt have 8 goals in them between them.
