I set off on my Jollies after the game, but can't see me setting off in a good mood.  just can't see us getting anything out of this game but a whooping!!

Maureen is one of the best stopping teams playing and Lukaku brushing aside all of the defence to score a hat trick.

C'MON lads please prove me wrong???

My son has just started playing competitive football, he is 7.

His game is at 11 so I had to choose between him or going the match. I chose him and I've given my ticket up.

If he doesn't score a hat trick he will be grounded.

Thought it was just the yanks that did the soccer mom/pop thing! used to hate it if my dad showed up to watch me play.

I guess it'll be a Coutinho, Firmino and Salah front line with Can, Hendo and Wijnaldum midfield for Saturday.

If only there was a period of time where clubs would sign players so that when there is an injury it doesn't feel like a disaster...

You’d have taken that though Keith wouldn’t you?

I mean - given the choice -  you’d suffer the loss of the big ugly boy in exchange for us missing Mane.........

Doesn't make it right Scotia. Kante also out for the Chavs through international break.

      Agreed Keith.

I wasn’t being entirely facetious - there’s not many at all in Prem that can step in for Sadio.

The big fella - bless him - has his virtues (I guess) but is a little more conventional to replace......height aside.

Time for our defence to play like they have met each other before, because we wont be scoring many against these.

I guess 3 main options for replacement - in no order of preference

      1. Ox for Sadio, straight up (seems least likely)

      2. Phil back to the front three with Mo and Bobby, then Gini, Emre and Jordan in midfield

      3. Sturridge with Bobby and Mo up front, and I guess that would put....??? at center forward. Bobby???

It's a big loss - really need some players to step up and show leadership where it hasn't been on display much this season.

Gomez can defend better from set pieces and is stronger defensively than TAA.

Sturridge would be lucky to make the bench after his display against Newcastle. No brainer that Firmino starts with his pressing aswel as being better.

I thought Gomez was woeful against the toons.

Don't fancy us one bit. Unlike the other top sides Maureen won't be dumb enough to come out and try and play, he'll spoil the game, sit deep, keep it very tight and wait for our ludicrous defence to fu.c...k it up at some stage. Losing Mane is a massive blow. I guess we might actually get to see what Ox can do but I suspect Coutinho will be the one to step into that inside left spot and we'll play it safe and boring in the middle of the park.

I would start Milner at right back. Gomez has looked very poor, he has spent too much time in the weights room for me, he looks slow on the turn and positionally he isn't up to scratch. TAA is a prospect but he would be better served playing further up the pitch where his defensive frailties can be protected. Milner played a whole season at left back and for me, he is our best option on the right until Clyne gets himself fit.

I know it's a massive step up but would like to see harry Wilson involved in the squad in the next few weeks, offers something different and is high in confidence,  if isn't involved with the hectic schedule coming up then he probably never will. Not saying starting games but deserves a chance

I'd have made the same decision.

My team are under-10's. I love coaching them and watching them play but the friendly is against a team we battered 9-0 at the start of the season when 3 of our lads were on holiday so I'm really not sure how it benefits anybody. Man City are having a coaching day on Saturday too at the place we usually train at so they were really looking forward to going to that, they were gutted when I told them they wouldn't be able to go.
