I tell you where I am with this. I think United will win. I think he'll shut up shop and they'll win by one goal, boring everyone involved for the best part of 90 minutes. That's fine, that's not what I'm looking for in this match. I want to see improvement across the team. If we banging them into goal and De Gea is his usual Herculean self when it comes to playing this, I'm fine. If they score because of a great peice of team play or a worldie, I'm fine. What I do not F***ing want is to see us lose this game because our defence is at sixes and sevens and our forwards couldn't hit the broadside of a barn. If we win, so much the better, but green shoots is the most important thing with this match.

We need a win to kick start our season. Time for Jürgen to work his magic and get us fired up like we were for the big games last season. Come out all guns blazing and blow them off the park with our energy and intensity.

Be interesting to see how we handle Lukaku. We've dealt with him pretty well when he was at Everton. He's likely to get more service now, but I still think he's a flat track bully. So don't be a flat track Dejan and co!

I look on this game as a chance for everybody, including our defence, to get some confidence back. Jürgen, any player worth their salt will find you more inspiring than that sour, vain little runt Mourinho. So get inspirational, and win this F***ing game!

When ‘Nando held up his hand to indicate 5 times after rinsing that c**t Vidic again my 5yr old (at the time) had his first full on fitba crush......

Like all first crushes he thought it would last forever but........

We often chat about ‘Nando now things have moved on and time has eased (not healed) the pain. Christ he was unplayable at times and had that wee bit of devil we need now. He loved that battle and had Vidic (rated the Prem’s top defender at the time) on f***in’ toast - he could not deal with him.

Always hate these games as the stakes are so high and the emotions get ratcheted up time 10, lose and the weekend is ruined, just hope we perform to our very maximum,  the build up to this game has been nothing short of ridiculous, not helped by the international break. if the unthinkable happens will be avoiding this place and twitter for a few days as the morons will come out to play
