I guess unless we get some Spurs or Chelsea fans, thread might as well be locked soon then.

Not sure which way to take you at moment Rib as I'm not in your good books. It's a good  :f_tongueincheek: joke but you maybe serious.  8)

1-1 in this cup semi between Spurs and the Mancs. Got to be honest, I thought Spurs would have a bit more verve and energy about them, comparable to their form not that long ago. They absolutely blew Man Utd off the field the last time they met but they look a shadow of that side at the moment. Tiredness perhaps?

And fully deserved for you lot. By far the sharper of the two sides.

That second 45 by Spurs reminded me of us during the second half of the 2011-2012 season. Stale, no invention, gaps at the back and lethargic. Totally uninspired. Man Utd didn't really have to go through many gears in all honesty.

They really set the precedent when they finished third in a two horse race against Leicester two years ago.

Very good second half performance, keeping Kane quite was the secret. The special one does know how to reach finals though.

So Spurs are having their usual end of the season meltdown, if I could choose between them and Chelsea making top 4 I think I’d choose Chelsea, dislike them more than the Chavs for some reason, but don’t think they’ll make it anyway.

Just to throw this out because I am still pissed at how shitty inconsistent the refs are, did you guys see the 2 hands on the back of Long by Cahill when he jumped up to head the ball and Long threw himself to the ground? That sh*t was not a foul apparently, but the same sh*t happened with Lovren and that diving Evertonian c**t which was given a pen and the "right decision".

Funny that because I could have sworn that when the new Wembley was built the FA said that the income generated would help grow and revolutionise the grassroots of the game. And then this massive St George's Park with umpteen football pitches and all that was announced and the FA said it would 'revolutionise the grassroots of the game'.

I think it's safe to assume that the £800m recouped from the sale of Wembley won't be reinvested into grassroots. Kids will still have no pitches to play on during the winter months, no access to them because of the costs and young ambitious coaches will continue paying £6000 of their own money to achieve a top level coaching license while pitches across the rest of the continent continue to be free at the point of use and coaches only have to spend 500 euros to obtain their top level coaching license.

Nope - all that money will subsidise, once more, the cushty, privileged lifestyles of the FA hierarchy with all their sexist, racist, old man attitudes along with it.

      Of course.

Got to be honest - I've always found the new Wembley to be a bit of a corporate soulless sh*t hole. I think the Champions League final in 2013 between Dortmund and Bayern was the only moment in it's history so far where the spectacle of the German fans and the two great German clubs on the field transcended the corporate sheen of the place.
