Hendo, Lovren and Mignolet? It's like we start with 8 players then.

Assume Firmino will be bolted out on to the left - don't think you get much from him there.  Chamberlain must be really struggling if he can't get a game when Mane, Lallana and Coutinho and Can aren't in the team.  Not looking like a good use of our 'warchest' is it.

Not a fan of us buying Ox, but with Mane out and playing a lesser team, surely it's only logical to start Ox with Salah to stretch the opposition? And with Firmino more effective in the central role, wouldn't it be better for him to play as a 9 or 10?

      F**k off!

Mignolet should never have a Liverbird on his chest again, F***ing terrible decision from the manager I'm absolutely furious about that choice.

Bobby out wide too, something that we've tried countless times and it's never worked, he does not play well there at all.

I'm sorry, I love Jürgen but this simply is not good enough. He needs to learn from mistakes.

That being said, this side should still win and I am pleased to see Can being dropped. So long as they don't have a shot on our goal, we'll be fine.

I’ve got to say I’m a bit gobsmacked with that. With what Jürgen said after the Spurs game I was convinced we’d see quite a few changes, Sturridge starting wasn’t quite what I had in mind!
However Jürgen’s the boss, he’s seen them in training all week so we’ll have to trust his judgement.
Hate to say this is a must win, but we really need to get our season back on track.

OMG Robertson actually making the bench, are Lovren and Mignolet in the last chance saloon, time for Ward to get a run of games, barely into autumn and the summer activity or lack of is biting Jürgen on the backside, so few options.

Ox was one of our only players that showed anything against spurs and he still starts on the bench.

      Strange.

Ha what a load of sh*t. First error Lovren makes and he's going to completely lose his head again. Lovren and Migs playing is essentially handing them a goal head start.

Good to all but 1 of our summer signings on the bench yet again. Highlight for Robertson, must have really upped his game to finally make the bench for the first time since the end of September.

      Klopp does himself no favours.

Hopefully Salah has his shooting boots.

Would make sense yeah, agree with you and JC that if AOC can't get a game under these circumstances then it's very strange indeed.

I genuinely wouldn't have started any of Lovren, Migs, Milner or Sturridge. All 4 are either too inconsistent, past it, paceless, lacking stamina or too mentally fragile, the fact that you can't be 100% sure which applies to whom indicates further why they shouldn't start.

First time I'm happy to say before the game even kicks off that Jürgen has got his team selection wrong.

F**k sake!! Lost for words. What has to happen for him to change things up a bit?!?!
Last weeks performance actually handed Jürgen a guilt edged chance to switch things up, think people would then have understood even if we'd done poorly in this game.
We might muddle thro this and get 3 points, but at some stage we have to take a longer term view.
      Same ol, same ol.

Anyway, good look to the lads. Would be good to get the win.

Sorry but JK has too many favourites, same story different week, regardless of todays performance/result, we know that Ox/Robertson/Solanke amongst others will prob spend all season on the bench at best,  when they all deserve a chance, so angry with it all, top managers do NOT keep perservering with the same old let downs week after week.

      Rubbish. Utter rubbish.

Surely we can win with that side still but it's F***ing mad. Mignolet, Lovren, Gomez at RB and Gini.

Must be some sort of appearance record by October this for Sturridge - genuinely one of the main surprise for me since the summer that Klopp seems to have so much faith in him.

If Danny can get on the scoresheet today, then something good will have come from today.

If we don't get 3 points today I'm not sure how much longer I can defend Klopp.

However, I want FSG gone before another manager departs this club.

      Indeed.

Firmino never seems to play well on the left and if Chamberlain still can't get a start it says a lot about him and our transfers this summer.

Lovren and Migs stay which I had a feeling might happen.

Another show like last week and big questions will be asked.

Looks like Jürgen is throwing them back out there with the attitude of they can't let him down again.

They will. If not this game it will happen.

Make that 7 because Sturridge is like his own team the way he tries to keep the ball to himself the whole time and not pass it.

And if they keep a clean sheet and win then Jürgen will come out and say 'I'm so impressed with their response' or something along those lines and proceed to give Mignolet and co another clean slate until next week or whenever those players f**k us over again. And then he'll probably give them another chance.

      Pathetic.

Fecking hell I wish I had a boss as lenient as Klopp! I could spend all day doing feck all and still have a bru ready for me the next day as I come in!
They better repay that faith today otherwise people won't just be questioning the players...
