Can is a lot more positive than Henderson and the evidence is clearly there to see

He may be more positive however the evidence of us not being able to hold onto the ball for long periods was also there. Not all our players can be gung ho, although there is certainly room for Hendo to be more forward thinking

No, there's just no point having two LB's on the bench. You'll find that when Moreno starts and Milner doesn't, that Milner is on the bench as cover for both LB and midfield and that Robertson isn't. When Milner starts, Robertson is on the bench. Not putting Robertson on the bench in that situation allows us to have the extra midfielder / attacking player on the bench, an extra option we're a lot more likely to need than another defender.

Think we'll start with him in midfield and depending on how the game goes, we could switch to a back three like we did against Huddersfield. Very flexible starting eleven, will be an interesting game.

Milner also cover at right back.

Ok that touch and run from Bob for Ox's goal was jizztastic. The effort where he pulled his shot wide would've been even better.

Some pretty goals. An ugly one conceded. 4-1, good sh*t.

Could be right mate, it's just the longer it goes on and results start stacking like this (and scoring heavily while at it) it makes you wonder what shape we actually want.

Got to consider that Keita is coming in, personally I think it's just a coincidence at the moment and I don't think we've played exceptional today, where when we've had Cou in the side earlier in the season I don't think we were getting what we deserved so that would fit with that thinking.

      Still, it's intriguing.

OK Look everyone. I realize Phil is more likely gone than not because of everything that has happened already, but there is no way that we have built a team that is too good (or even too different) that a place couldn't be found for him. Players like him do not grow on trees.

Short of him coming out and saying "I want to stay at Liverpool in the long term," which frankly would be a very easy thing for him to do if he actually felt that way, I realize there is a good chance of him leaving and the management has to plan for it, but as long as he is here, he is a player you'd have to involve in the first team, regardless of who else is on hand.

I agree Robby, it's still intriguing though.

As said, I think it's more to do with us not getting what we deserved earlier in the campaign when he was playing than anything else.

Kept an eye on Matip as I was playing him down recently, but he was great today, almost got my vote for MOTM, but Salah was brilliant, so he has to get the nod.

Buzzing would be an understatement. Was really nervous leading up to it because our away form has been patchy to say the least. Well done Reds.

Well, we did get to see Ox operating as an attacking midfielder today and I thought he looked pretty good (albeit he was more even with Salah and Mane, behind Bobby, rather than behind all three). What the long-term plan for the rest of midfield is will be rather intriguing as well.

A few contenders for MOM, voted for Ox because I thought he did well and he needs to feel the love! I hope to see him get more starts after this. Just remember Sigurdsson, cost £45m!

Went for Matip as MOTM just to share the love and to give some appreciation for his focused and strong performance
I thought he was very good. Nicely timed tackles and carrried the ball forward on occasion very well.
Also very glad to see Lovren come on for a few minutes at the end...clever move by klopp to get him back on the pitch and away from home.
Can’t fault anyone’s performance today except for gomez being very weak when going for the challenge with Lanzini and also just after that with someone else.
All in all, a very committed and focused performance from our boys.
      Happy Red tonight!

It is this type of games against the lower half clubs that we faltered time and again but not this time. Very happy to see everyone doing well, moreso Ox, put him right in the middle of the attack and he will rampaged past defenders, that's what he likes to do most. Bobby has also shown great commitment rampaged past defenders and he looks much tougher player than he was 2 seasons ago. Very happy to see that.  Happy to also see Ox scored a goal and also Matip did the same. Bobby and Can  both beast and moved the ball so much faster and unsettled the West Ham their defence simply couldn't cope with the speed. That's what we must be doing from now on. Don't give opposition defence the time and chance to re-group. In fact, we will be very difficult to play against as Salah, Mane, Bobby and now Ox are fast and they can be at any spot at the 3rd quarter and defenders hate that.
