Loved the win, but that was an abysmal display from our midfield,  most of our good work came when we bypassed them.

One things for sure after watching that game.

Matip and Klavan are easily our best CB pairing.

Frustrates me so much that Klopp hasn’t bought more players because they’re usually sensantional!!

Mo Salah is an absolute steal and I just F***ing love his work rate.

      Great result.
Delighted for Alex. He's been growing into the team every game.

Another Man of the Match for Mo.

Like the balance in that midfield/forward.
Helps that Mané and his pace are back.

Himself and Mo will be our two most important players for the rest of the season.

Now keep Can at that midfield role and sign him up before he leaves on a free.

Can is a lot more positive than Henderson and the evidence is clearly there to see

Here you usually find full game replays (have to download them):

Here you find extended highlights, no full games anymore I think:

Couldn't get a stream but 4-1 is as convincing as anyone could have hoped for.

Feels good to win again, lots of ground to catch up so on to the next.

F**k off out of here with "Is Mignolet the worst LFC keeper ever?"
in a match thread that we've won 4-1.

      Miserable shower.
There's a player thread if you can't enjoy a good win.

      I mean....

      He is.

Still enjoying the win but it doesn't make me pleased we have a liability in goal. Still think it was a disgrace he was given the armband

He may be more positive however the evidence of us not being able to hold onto the ball for long periods was also there. Not all our players can be gung ho, although there is certainly room for Hendo to be more forward thinking

No, there's just no point having two LB's on the bench. You'll find that when Moreno starts and Milner doesn't, that Milner is on the bench as cover for both LB and midfield and that Robertson isn't. When Milner starts, Robertson is on the bench. Not putting Robertson on the bench in that situation allows us to have the extra midfielder / attacking player on the bench, an extra option we're a lot more likely to need than another defender.

Think we'll start with him in midfield and depending on how the game goes, we could switch to a back three like we did against Huddersfield. Very flexible starting eleven, will be an interesting game.

Milner also cover at right back.

Ok that touch and run from Bob for Ox's goal was jizztastic. The effort where he pulled his shot wide would've been even better.

Some pretty goals. An ugly one conceded. 4-1, good sh*t.

Could be right mate, it's just the longer it goes on and results start stacking like this (and scoring heavily while at it) it makes you wonder what shape we actually want.

Got to consider that Keita is coming in, personally I think it's just a coincidence at the moment and I don't think we've played exceptional today, where when we've had Cou in the side earlier in the season I don't think we were getting what we deserved so that would fit with that thinking.

      Still, it's intriguing.

OK Look everyone. I realize Phil is more likely gone than not because of everything that has happened already, but there is no way that we have built a team that is too good (or even too different) that a place couldn't be found for him. Players like him do not grow on trees.

Short of him coming out and saying "I want to stay at Liverpool in the long term," which frankly would be a very easy thing for him to do if he actually felt that way, I realize there is a good chance of him leaving and the management has to plan for it, but as long as he is here, he is a player you'd have to involve in the first team, regardless of who else is on hand.

I agree Robby, it's still intriguing though.

As said, I think it's more to do with us not getting what we deserved earlier in the campaign when he was playing than anything else.
