A game like this, when you're comfortable is when you can afford him to not play as well. Be nice to see the spark of the old Mane for the next few matches though, tougher games on their way.

      eh?

You mean because of his physique I guess, in that sense then he does use his strength extremely well when in possession.

Even when not on his game, he is always a threat, you can't leave him unmarked so he'll always make space for our other forwards. Hasn't had much time to get on his game though. Got back from injury against West-Ham, looked rusty, then the internationals and now straigt back into the starting eleven. I'm sure we'll see him firing back on all cylinders soon!

Can you explain that, please? He's as natural a footballer to me as they come.

Gini and Hendo have been unimpressive in the midfield for me. Some nice touches here and there but have more often than not cocked up the all important final ball.

      Agreed.

I think that's fair, we've had dominance in there due to numbers rather than quality. It's our front 4 that have absolutely bossed it and they stand out a mile from the others if I'm honest.

Keita in this side is going to be another to tag on but I think to win the league, looking at the likes of City, we need maybe 2 more at the back.

      Milner has dropped into midfield.
Firmino effectively on his own now.
Shutting this down with 10 to go.

Lovren, who's been pretty poor but thankfully Saints attack is as blunt as a butter knife, put Moreno right in the sh*te there but thankfully the little Spaniard is now looking a very composed player which just typing seems odd.

Really well played again by Alby.

Mo will get the plaudits and rightly so but Klavan has been exceptional in almost everything.

AHHHHH so close Bob. Would've been the perfect reward.

Salah has to be MOTM, but another exceptional match by Firmino. Fantastic performance overall, well played!
