Not a bad start for England so far,  although thought Cook went too easily. Stoneman & Vince have done well getting through the morning session without losing another wicket.

Not sure about this BT stuff just yet. Find Swann a bit annoying to be fair.

Might grow on me in time.

Decent start by England but any batting collapse could be fatal here.

Australia have produced a wicket where 500 looks parr.

Agree on swann, after a while he really begins to grate, finds himself hilarious.  Need someone to get a big 100

I was considering getting BT sport for this but glad I settled for an acestream instead.  Swann, Vaughan and Boycott are so F***ing hard to listen to, whilst Ponting and Gilchrist are spot in.  Definitely miss the Sky coverage - say what you want about Sky but their cricket team are fantastic.

      Big first session tonight.

Interesting first day, slow going, roots wicket was a big blow, new ball first thing is vital, cummins was looking stiff so important that mo, malan etc get their heads down

Watched a bit of it this morning. BT nowhere near Sky in terms of coverage that's for sure.

Decent day for England I thought. Shame Cook and Root missed out but good to see some others stepping up to get us into a respectable position. Need one of Moeen/Malan/Bairstow to go big tomorrow.

Watched up until 6am, so missed last session, unlucky Vince couldn't get his century but a good knock from him, do need to put a few more runs on the board when the match restarts.

In terms of commentary, agreed, don't mind Vaughan but agree with Fields of Anny Road, Swann starts to grate after a while. Gilchrist and Ponting, know their stuff and comes through in the way the describe the game.

Ffs, too many poor shots, going to be a minimum of 100 under par, perhaps crane instead of ball would have been good in hindsight

Thoroughly enjoyed that morning session. Might just nab a few overs before sleep to see if England can bag a wicket or two.
