Who's on your wish list for January
      Nov 26, 2017 12:42:52 pm
Well mine is for CB and probably on everyone else's, VVD. I think if the money is right, Coutinho will be gone to Barca in January and if a tasty enough bid comes in I think Sturridge will be gone aswell. So replacements would be either Lemar or Draxler for Coutinho. Timo Werner for Sturridge.

Throw the bank at Adrien Rabiot.

But we won't make any big signings anyway. So meh.

I would be shocked if we sign anyone. Only thing I can see is a pre agreement for next summer like the Matip deal

VVD and Goretzka will do also importantly it means not having to integrate to many over the summer with the Coutinho money!

      Same.
But if we were to do so, and trying to be realistic, I wouldn't mind a player like Kerem Demirbay, midfielder from Hoffenheim. We kicked them out of UCL and they're now also out of the UEL. Not exactly a priority with Lallana returning and Keita coming next season, but I'm a fan.

Rui PatrĂcio, Sporting goalkeeper, would also be a decent option. They've one of their best shots at winning the league in Portugal for quite some time, so they'll probably be unwilling to sell... money talks, though.

An actual DM also wouldn't be bad. Again from Portugal, William Carvalho (Sporting) or Danilo Pereira (Porto) could be considered.

A centre back, obviously, should be on the cards... aside from the obvious Van Dijk option, I'd take a look on Nico Elvedi from Borussia Monchengladbach, who can also play right back. Koulibaly from Napoli would be nice, but they're top of the league right now, so can't see that happening in January.

As I said at first though... doubt we'll sign anyone.

I'd be astounded if we see any major signings, unless Coutinho is sold.

A few stories of moves from players previously linked.

A feable attempt for Van Dijk maybe.

A glut of briefed articles on how no signings is a good thing.

General PR blitz from owners and Klopp.

"Ings and Clyne are like new signings"

February arrives and we'll still have an unbalanced squad of cowards and people will be somehow be surprised when nothing changes.

Agree on the INs...100% agree. Weirdly, all players that I have bought for my liverpool fifa 18 team!
Would add in Draxler on loan if Phil leaves BUT don’t see that happening till the summer
As for the outs, wouod absolutely sell emre now, possibly studge, who I love but feel needs to be at a club that plays him consistently and to his strengths
Phil I reckon we will hold on till the summer.

      My wish list.

Fans not getting pissy and spouting off about who we do and don't sign.

Reasoned debate, civil conversation and Everton getting Fat Sam as boss.

Saving that, I'd take Jiri Pavlenka or Jan Oblak, Jaanik Vestergaard and Leander Dendoncker.

If we need to bump up our home grown quota, we could do far worse than take a look at Alfie Mawson at Sansea.

Seen a few links to aubameyang

Would bite my own arm off for him to play between mane and salah for us.

I'll be glad when he's retired so I won't want him here anymore ;D

If we got him we probably would have the fastest forward line to ever exist.

      Imagine:

         Mane Aubameyang Salah
                   Firmino
                Keita Jorginho
        Moreno VvD Matip Gomez
                       Mig

Subs: Karius, TAA, Lovren, Henderson, Lallana, Solanke

Now that would be some starting XI and it includes losing Cou. Add a keeper and perhaps a LB, depending how Robbo and Moreno get on and we'd be formidable.

Cowards ? Don't be so over dramatic

They've not a set of balls between them.

The core of that squad have been together for years, so many remain for Rodgers' time even.

A failed title challenge, an FA Cup semi final collapse, a League Cup final loss, a Europa League final capitulation and a League Cup semi final sh*t show.

There's players playing for the club who the only 'success' they can point to is finishing fourth last year, something which they did their level best to throw away over Christmas and January from a strong start.

Bournemouth away last year, Watford away two years ago, Watford away a few months ago, Sevilla last week, Spurs away a month ago, City two months ago - a group of lads who panic and concede goals and then panic more. Timid under pressure, definition of cowards.

There's no leaders in that team, there's a reason they all look around in panic as soon as the chips are down... because there's too many cowards.

Klopp and Rodgers' created teams who look great on their day, fantastic footballing sides for a third to a half of a season. The problem is that when it isn't all pinging around on the one touch, when they're a bit tired or when they're a bit off the boil - they time and time again have played within themselves or collapsed.

Wouldn't argue with any of the Ins either .

Only Sturridge out of those three ..... don't see the problem with Can.... far from it.
Studge may feel he needs more visibility before the World Cup ... but hey what with Southgate in charge and playing the new blood into the squad we may not see him going out there.
He's picking up that mega money from the Bank of Anfield so why would he want to go?
Not a bad job bench warming for that money.

Hendo won't be shifted ... Moreno neither.
Waiting for Lovren to implode again.   I'd get shot of them as soon as and if no goalie ... fat chance .... the Danny should definitely be given a run if we dont buy a Patricio or of that ilk.

      BTW
Can we nobble Migs in training at Melwood pre World Cup?
Can't depend on him to f**k up in the internationals like he does for us.

Not for January and more for the summer window but I'd take Oblak, VVD, Goretzka and Alderweireld seeing he enters his final year in the summer and wants more money.. yeah I know I'll go back to sleep now :)

      Aubameyang.

More stuff today in the media. Conte apparently is chasing him and TBH  we need goalie and defenders but there is a bit of unrest at Borussia between him and the club.

Sturridge ?  Word is that AC Milan have more than a passing interest.
That'll get him off the wage bill and keep his dream of Russia 2018  in his head.

I live near Leipzig. Forget Werner, we were bigtime lucky to steal Keita, RB won't lose Werner too, not in January, not in the summer, because they look to become a powerhorse and losing Keita & Werner would destroy this ambition.

I don't know why you guys love Aubameyang. He's not suited for our style of play. He's suited for a team that has not major ball control and tries to counter attack the ball controlling team. He's fast, but that's it...and he's gettin old.

I want VVD, my dream would be Sturridge for VVD and some cash = everyone happy.

I also want Coutinho gone. I'd like a trade here too: Coutinho for Suarez and some cash (for us this time because Suarez has become kind of old).

I wouldn't mind Draxler and Lemar and I would kill for Pulisic (Dortmund).

We would be smart to go after Ozil and Goretzka.  Both will be available for knock down fees, and we will need to replace Coutinho and Can.  Selling Coutinho should generate almosy enough money to sign those 2 + VVD.

      Out:  Coutinho, Can, Studge
      In:  Ozil, Goretzka, VVD
