Trapp is being offered around for a reason, he was very error prone for PSG and lost his spot there. He's probably better than Mignolet, but I think we should be aiming at someone better than that.

If we signed someone like Oblak that would be absolutely massive, but say Kepa from Bilbao as Dadorious suggested (supposedly on Real Madrid's radar), or an experienced goalkeeper like Rui PatrĂcio who will likely be looking to leave Sporting soon, Alisson from Roma would be very interesting, or even Sergio Rico from Sevilla... there are plenty of good options out there, not all of whom are necessarily going to cost a fortune but could solve the position for a few years.

Oblak is a good shout. Tbh I'd take this bloke at this point though, so my expectations aren't high.

Trapp is krapp he is kevin von krapp, not as good as karius
Trapps goal to save ratio has been a consistent almost 4 to 1. If you don't believe me check Squawka. His stats are outrageous regardless of any reputations.

      GKs

Timo Horn of FC Koln  who the Reds were interested in a few years ago
      or
      Peter Gulacsi  at Leipzig.

The latter was on our books languishing without ever getting a look in for five years.
He has just been voted the best goalkeeper in the Bundesliga!
Now ....who was the manager here in 2013 who got rid of him on a free transfer?

Says German "Kicker" magazine  as re-published by our own UK Daily Star for one.

      That's who.

That doesn't look like a "vote" on who's the best keeper in Germany, that's saying he was top of the ratings for goalkeepers by Kicker magazine when the season was about 2 months old. A bit different I think. More like a journalist looking for a narrative after a game Mignolet fu**ed up.

Having watched a bit of Gulacsi, I am pretty sure he's better than Mignolet, but I'm not certain if he really is an elite goalkeeper. Would be an improvement, as would be Horn. I'd be happy with nearly anything at this point. Oblak would be the dream though

I heard garlic improves energy levels. They should start putting it in jaffa cakes. Would be better than red bull.

Dunno, but obviously if Klopp wanted him he'd likely go after him. From what I've read, Aubama is a bit of a headache in the locker room. Not the greatest attitude, which would certainly explain why Klopp wouldn't go after him.
