Thank goodness we avoided the big teams early on.

Agreed, but it's bloody typical we get the Bitters after they change manager, not while they were dropping like a lead balloon. I still expect us to smash them both in the league and now in the cup but I expect tougher games now that I would have done under Unsworth.

Can't see anything in their team that can hurt us to be honest. Loads of 6s 8s and 10s and nothing up front. No pace nothing really.

      Agreed.

They'll try and park the bus but I don't think they're good enough or have the players to do that.

Their only threat is from set pieces. Both Sigurdsson and Rooney can whip a ball in and we are well known for flapping and causing havoc in our own box.

I don't see them getting into our half many times to get free kicks in dangerous positions though. They'll be too scared to come forward because they know we'll kill them on the break.

I predict a 4-5-1 formation from them. Three holding midfielders.

I’m worried about this and the Prem game. Allardyce always does a number on us.

More likely to do a number on himself.

Wonder if Klopp gives another keeper a chance in the FA cup?
      Is it time for ward?
Also, does Ings finally get his chance?
Such a shame that we have to face Everton...obviously we will win BUT playing an even smaller team may well have guaranteed a few of the lower down squad players a chance.

Full F***ing team out for this one now.

Not having this sh*te soaking up our average pressure and nabbing us  at the end out the cup.

As strong as possible. These lads are footballers paid big money. They can do two games in 4 days some times.

      Interesting hypothesis :-

Did Klopp field an understrength team yesterday to lure Sam into a false sense of security - and then we absolutely batter him in the Cup

I would have preferred if we battered them in the league..

Yep I wanna see how they handle the front 4 myself. I hope we give them a real beating and I think Klopp will be determined to punish them judging by his reaction after the match.
