Other than Lovren I cant think of a more fitting winner of the African player of the year award.

Great game of football so far. Deserved lead for us. I know he's not the most talented player in our squad but I just think we look so much more balanced when the Ox plays - really does fit us perfectly.

Now a perfect chance to show we actually learnt something from the Sevilla game.

I've actually been very impressed with Ox. Love his intensity and aggressiveness.

0-3....could be roadhog day all over again..

Wonderful first half.
No half measures eh. Either we're poor, or we're brilliant.
Coutinho show for first 10 or 15 mins, hitting post from free kick, then goal of the month with his first. Brilliant goal.
Firmino and Salah came into game more, brave header from Lovren with Bobs pullback, and another individual goal from Mo.
And it could've easily been 4 or 5.
They score and bring it back to 1-2 maybe things would be a bit different.
But it's one of those days when we have a lot of goals in us.
Keep it up lads!!

He hasn’t started well at all

It's situations like that where you see he is a CB and not a RB. As a CB he is in control of the decision in that situation himself rather than having to follow the decision that our CB makes. Basic mistake that could've cost us. 1-2 is a whole different feeling than 0-3.

Very happy with that first half. Good performances by Chamberlain, Robertson, Salah, Coutinho and Henderson so far.

Boy, did u see Coutinho when he scored? He looked bored with a touch of "I hope they see how I help them to let me go soon". On the bright side I like Ox more and more. Hernderson slows the game down, I think Keita will improve that very much. Now, I wanna see Adam and Solanke and why not also a guy like Woodburn?!?

p.s. Pretty good job there from Mig at the fast break. This ball was either his or goes to the wood (which happened), world class I say.

Trust you to bring it down with your opening sentence. 

Well its what we do well, little bit of space and our pace and skill can hurt any team, but we know this. Not so easy when we're up against the packed defense.

And in case anybody hasn't noticed..we haven't defended well in this game even tho we are 3 up.
