And as for Hendo, seriously, he is so wasted playing deep and trying to "dictate", just watch him press high and support the attack, that is Hendo at his best!
For me Henderson playing higher really only works against sides who are willing to play football, like Bournemouth is trying to do now. He is useless higher up the pitch against sides that park the bus.
It really comes down to who you prefer over who for the midfield positions.
Who would you rather see as the #8? Lallana or Henderson? Chamberlain (on current form) or Henderson? Wijnaldum (this will be one where plenty of people will disagree or Henderson? In 90% of the cases I'd prefer those three over Henderson. They're all far better with the ball at their feet, picking passes, playing between the lines, ...
And then it comes down the #6, Henderson or Can? Henderson, when on form, is our best #6.
He might be "wasted" as a #6, but in the majority of the games we play, he's too limited to be one of the more advanced midfielders.
