I think he's indispensable as a player and leader, so just grateful he's fit and able to contribute as regularly as we need. When he was subbed off before the end tonight I thought great, the big man has another 5/10 mins rest!
The way we play is helping to reduce the risk of injury, but so is his own individual intelligence about when to exert energy, when to urge other players to keep the ball a bit better, how to avoid unnecessary situations. Control of the ball, of the rhythm of our play and the kind of situations we put ourselves in affects injury risk/longevity and we are managing that very well so far.
