Surprised we started all the front 4 against Leicester - would have saved at least 1 for this game. So, would bring some fresh legs in -

                                   Karius

      TAA         Matip          Klavan    Robbo

                Ox         Can      Gini

      Mane          Solanke               Lallana

Bobby and Cou to come on if needed. Rest Mo if he felt even the slightest of twinges.

Mo is a doubt but he should be rested in any case. We have enough to deal with Burnley. They are a good tight knit organised club and it will be a test but we have enough.

      A 3-5-2 formation of:

                     Karius
           Lovren Matip Klavan
                       Can
       Oxlade Gigi Couts Mane
                Salah Firmino

      0-2 win.

      Solanke for Mo if unfit

I think Firmino needs a rest so it would be Solanke up top for me. Interesting to see if Lallana gets a start? I'd expect to see Karius, Ox and Gino all back in the team

Don't think we should drop Firmino....I mean he could be bearing down on Pope, the Burnley Keeper....and flash his gnashers at Pope to Dazzle him...and then walk it in..

No idea why Klopp brings Mig again. Rotation? Can't be serious. Really worried about this goalie saga. Can Lallana go for 90min. yet? I remember him being a cornerstone of this team last year, but somehow he's under the radar.

I know bob has put in a few miles, but his workrate is what makes us tick most of the time. Would start him, and if we are fortunate to get a couple of goals ahead, then replace him with Solanke and shut up shop. Solanke doesn’t offer enough for me to start in a must win game. Be ok if we defend a lead and use him to hold the ball up as we go a bit longer and keep the middle tight !

I agree I think with Everton up on Jan 5th in FA Cup and our next PL game the 13th vs Citeh run Bobby tomorrow and rest him the FA cup game cause he will need a break at some to avoid dip in form due to burn out and like mention we get a few goals then take him off early.

                 Milner     Ox      Gini

Front 3 needs rotating to prevent injuries.
Salah, Firmino and Coutinho need a rest, but I'd have them on the bench incase.

No question about how important Bobby is, but even just looking at the previous two matches, I think it is very likely Solanke starts this one. I wouldn't be surprised if Phil is on the bench at the start as well, with Mane, Solanke and Ox the front three, and Lallana getting his first start of the season in midfield. I know it therefore isn't our strongest lineup, but this ridiculous setup of two matches in 48 hours screams out rotation. We have to protect our players for the long haul.

Let's keep our  focus. If we need to win ugly so be it. This one week has seen some front runners loosing some ground while we made up some ground. If I'm Klopp I would throw some new faces into the match and mix it up a bit. Burnley is a hardworking unit and they play to certain pattern to stifle the opponent. If things do not work out in the first half. Make some major changes to upset Burnley game plan.

Would love to see Solanke score today. Another park the bus team for us today and a win could take us level with the scum cos I think the bitters will be up for it today and could very well turn them over and give Mourinho something else to moan about. If theres even a sniff that Salah could be fit id put him on the bench. Come on you Redmen.

I don't know why but I'm feeling a little anxious before this match.

It's a massive 48 hours for us after that great tense battle against stubborn Leicester. We must back it up with another win to cement our spot in the top 4.

I've gone for a narrow 1-0 win to us. I'm hoping we open the floodgates with many goals however it's not always as simple as that. It looks like no Mo, so Sadio has to get his scoring boots on.

Bobby and Cou to come on if needed. Rest Mo if he felt even the slightest of twinges.

That was such a tough game, had we not started the side we did, it could well have finished as a draw.
Now we need to go strong again, Solanke isn’t cutting the mustard at the mo. Good sub to bring on when we need to tighten up and go a bit longer. Something we fail to do too often, and we let sides back into games.
Always strongest side from your available players. Get the game won, then change tactics to see it out.
Solanke makes a big change in tactics from the Off if he starts. That disrupts our rhythm to much.

Hoping for something like this. Players can be rested for the Everton game, the league is more important and Klopp likes to give youngsters/fringe players a chance in the cup.

I wonder if he'll get any time today?

      Won't see him t'il Feb minimum....anyhoo...toda y....

Think Burnley have went off the boil of late but are still very capable of f**king up your day,
Sean Dyche has done a remarkable job and has his players working for him and his methods, not too dissimilar to our Jürgen, and have been prevalent in scalp hunting especially this campaign,

Being without Mo will no doubt give them a boost, they're at home and have a decent record to so all the signs point to a tough day at the office,

Can see a few changes apart from Mo but should still have enough to get us through......

                                Karius
           Trent    Gomez Matip Robertson
                                 Milner
                Oxlade                  Wijnaldom
                              Coutinho
                   Mane                  Lallana
                               Firmino

Bench;  Ward, Lovren, Klavan, Can, Solanke, Ings, Woodburn.

      1-2 Mighty Redmen

Can see a lot of changes for this

                        Mignolet

      TAA - Matip - Klavan - Robertson

                Lallana - Can - Gini

                   OX - Ings - Manè

With a strong bench if it's not going well

I would rather start with a stronger team and make changes if it's going well

I expect we’ll find out soon.

I have a bad feeling (aside from the hangover).
