Ox has got to be the MOTM, he's the only one running non-stop and trying to get an attack going. Defending and attacking non-stop. Get that fecking lazy b***ard goalkeeper out of the club. When Klavan and Lovren needs to step up to score just show how sh*t is Solanke.

I think Klavan has been more than decent of late, so I was happy to see him score. Think him and Lovren both are good squad options, just hope we won't have to rely on them every match from now on.

Solanke and Gini the most disappointing players today. I like Gini as a player, not only he provided a decent number of goals and assists last season, but tactically he was often very important - but recently, and today in particular, he's been more boring than a Poulsen/Lucas midfield combo added together. No desire to try anything at all, never ever ran with the ball in crowded areas, just played it far too simple, which often can be a strength, but in a match like this he just put an extra burden on Emre Can, who isn't very good himself either.

Solanke on the other hand is just too easy to defend against. He has little pace, so needs to learn how to use his body and his height effectively. Against a defence like Burnley's, he needs to be prepared to throw himself around, jump, bully defenders and so on; he did none of that - he didn't even try. It was almost like playing with 10 for most of the game.

We deserved the three points because we scored 2 and they scored 1, but please Mr Klopp, no more experiments in must win games. 3 or 4 changes would have been enough to keep my heart rate in check.

      Buzzing with that.

Ugly win with a last minute goal and with only 1 of the fab 4 on the pitch at any given time.

Gives some key players a rest (hopefully that goes for Coutinho as well) and we will have VVD available now.

      Happy new year!!

Leicester and Burnley. 2 narrow wins in 48 hours. Puts big pressure on Arsenal and Spurs behind us. Arsenal vs Chavs, hopefully a draw.

      Here are my takeaways:

-This team, just without Cou, Salah and Firmino, looks just like an average PL team. Klopp refutes himself because his system should make those players better, but today's game just showed: without outstanding players his system does sh*t.

-TAA can do beautiful banana crosses. More of that.

-Solanke looked like a 5th wheel there. He's not making progress. Way to early to brand him Origi 2.0 but he just doesn't fit into this offense it seems.

      -Mig played like a top20 goalie. :)

-Lallana coming around, good to see him back.

-Mané flashes his magic, but still does not look like the old one, no idea why.

      -Our defense is a liability.

But who cares. We won, finally, after we'd draw all those games, but plenty to talk about post game.

Put everything in to context that was a huge win. 7 changes to the line up, Burnleys record at home and in general this season, their dog sh*t football, the torrid weather and a 19yr old leading the line against one of the most physical teams in the league is a huge F***ing win!!!
