It makes sense because I care for this team longterm. If we have a loser kicking dumb penalties we have to address this. Imagine what harm it could do to us in the future. But ok I stop here and assume Milner just had figured it out.
      Cheers for that Brad Bobley.

They are actually focusing on SSN, on what Bobby said to Holgate rather than what actually happened.

That doesn't surprise me. The FA will probably get a interpreter in to fathom out what Bob was saying. Think he was a saying " you crazy **** " or words to that effect.

Holgate should've been sent off. The Ref knew it was dangerous play by Holgate and I think the 4th official told the Ref some crap about Bob and that stopped him booking or sending Holgate off.

That is a good point and I assume Milner kind of did the same. Otherwise his penalty would have been too reckless.

It's called peripheral vision you absolute nonce.

Milner has one of the best pen conversion rates in the league. If we were in the CL final with a 5th taker needed to win it, I'd pick James myself. If he's good at one thing it's pens. Just either admit you're wrong or drop it for F**k sake you look so stupid.

Gave my mom to Robertson. It’s easy to say vvd but I thought he was solid all night and certainly got stuck in

What did your mom think about that?

Was a close choice between Robertson and van Dijk but to score the winner like that on your debut in front of the Kop, that edged it for me.

Absolutely nothing wrong with the penalty, last thing i remember was it hitting the back of the net. Lots of players hit it down the middle, nine times out of ten the keeper always dives.

Fat Sam said he doesn't want to talk about controversial incidents, makes a change!!

There's the culprit....did he say something to the 4th official. I wouldn't put it past him. He conspired with Funguson of Mancheater United to get Rafa the T**T. Dirty tricks by Fat Sam...now he says nothing.

The 4th official should not have been involved, they never make a decision or assist in making them. I'd like to see the Refs report.

The FA should ban Holgate for dangerous and reckless disregard for the safety of the little old Lady in the front row....knocked her teeth out as well...and she missed her bus home because that Looney Holgate broke the old dear's spectacles..

I am trying not to exaggerate on my appreciation of Robertson because in all honesty I was eagerly waiting to see him play regularly, as I simply don't think Moreno has a place in a team that wants to compete at the very top, and I know that just the feeling of having a Moreno free lineup could make my views a bit biased.

But my word, he's good, isn't he?

      Don't like that.

Complete change of centre backs, Milner and Can in midfield, weak bench... ugh...

Hope that team clicks into gear and plays well.

Turned out to be fairly accurate after all.. well I never..

Wasn't the best game of football in truth...Derbies rarely are. We just didn't quite get it going. Looked as if we might just a few minutes before they scored but it was all a bit rushed. Alex showed he can be our " dead ball specialist" like to see him have a pop at a 30 yard free kick at goal.

Lacked a bit of authority in the middle but thanks to VVD having the desire to attack the ball we are in the 4th round. Home draw next is all we can ask for.
