You raise a good point there. Maybe because thermal socks are just too expensive for football clubs to buy. Im thinking they would need to buy for all players,  if they brought for multiple days it would cost even more than Klopps iPad.

The so called snood was banned a few seasons back. But gloves are still worn..just imagine a winger coming out with gloves on facing Tommy Smith...the air would turn blue.

Remember a few years ago Chelsea got drawn away to Oldham and Oldham were saying stuff like..."those southerners won't like the cold biting wind.." Chelsea won and Vialli the then Chelsea manager to his credit said..." the crap they came out with saying we would not like the cold....we are Professionals for fucks sake..."

Snood ban is right, since if a player tugged on a snood it could cause neck injury.

I do think clubs should compensate fans who can't attend because of the weather today. Perhaps a free ticket to another game.
