Roberto Firmino has given his response to the FA's decision today regarding the allegation made against him during the FA Cup tie at Anfield, played on Friday January 5, 2018.

"As difficult as it has been to remain publicly silent, given the serious and damaging nature of what it was claimed I said during the game, I did so to demonstrate my respect for the process and to allow the issue to be investigated in the most thorough way.

"It is critical for football that tackling racism and all forms of discrimination is taken extremely seriously. As someone who has experienced racist abuse during my life, I know how damaging and hurtful it can be.

"Now the process is concluded, I would like to place on record, for the avoidance of any doubt, I did not say the word, or a variation of the word, that was claimed and subsequently reported in the media. I did not use any language that referenced race. I did not - and would never - reference a person’s skin colour or culture, by means of insult, during a dispute or an argument.

"There is no place for discrimination on a football pitch, or anywhere else in life for that matter.

"I am pleased after exhaustive reviews of all the evidence, in this specific incident, the matter is resolved."

No way were the FA going to have the balls to punish Holgate for being a lying c**t so this is probably the best situation we could have hoped for.

Was getting a horrible feeling they would have found a way to charge Bobby with something.

      Don't like the wording still

Basically there is no evidence to prove Bobby said it

It simply should say he has no case to answer

It's still a little too ambiguous for me that

The way their full statement is worded is a joke.

To me it reads as ‘we would really have liked to have charged him, but unfortunately we couldn’t quite make the evidence fit’.

They’re a F***ing joke that lot over at the FA.

So what most of us thought, Firmino calls Holgate a "son of a bi*ch" in Portuguese for being pushed over the hoarding, Holgate hears Firmino say something and worried about being sent off for the push, claims he was racially abused by Bobby!!

Holgate playing the race card to get away scot free.

FA clearly have no balls, they all know exactly what Holgate did, yet none of them brave enough to pull the trigger. They would get huge social media backlash I imagine from the social justice cu*ts who would say 'it's Holgate's right'... But F**k it, be brave and do what's right not what's easy.

f***in bollocks, 6 weeks it took them useless fucktards at the FA to tell us what we already knew,
They are without doubt the most inept bunch of wankers, as custodians of English football they are as currupt as Fifa were/are, TOSSERS !!

incidentally, does anyone know what happens to all the money they get from all the fines they dish out, over the years they must have amassed millions !!

Thought the same thing when I read it.  "No punishment for Firmino" makes it sound like he's guilty, and lucky not to be banned.  The opposite is true -- he's the victim of a false accusation.

The whole incident has been an absolute F***ing joke. No justice again, Holgate lies through his teeth and gets away with it.

The FA don't need to show me they're a F***ing joke, they always F***ing have been and will continue to be until the next disaster that wipes out the dinosaur cu*ts!

There was never any danger of holgate getting charged or punished or any criticism, would be seen as discouraging people from reporting racism. The statements from both the fa and everton are exceedingly unhelpful.  Time to move on
