      A message from Jürgen Klopp:-

To the travelling army of Liverpool supporters on Monday night - Last weekend Swansea lost a 30 year old local amateur football legend due to a heart attack 30 minutes into the game he loved playing.
His friends are rallying round and there will be collections before and during the game by 25 people with buckets and 'Supporting Mitch' shirts to help Mitchell's family, because of a heart operation last year Mitchell was refused life insurance.
It would mean a great deal not only to Mitchell's family but to the people of Swansea if all Liverpool fans could get involved - he'll never walk alone,
                                                                                                        thank you,
                                                                                                                    Jürgen Klopp

No results have gone our way this weekend but hopefully Southampton can take points off Spurs here. I’m hopeful we won’t be challenging for 4th place but, if we are, it’s going to be them challenging.

No room for complacency, ever, but Swansea really are utter sh*te and if we play at just half the level as we did against Citeh then I predict another 3 or 4 goal win. I don't even think Swansea have a bus to park do they, their defence is as sh*t as their attack.
whilst I see your logic, every lower team seems to raise their game against Liverpool. Partly because we struggled to break down teams who don't go out to win, they'll try to bus park and hit us on the counter. We need to be wary not to over commit going foward.  Passing the ball around well and making our opportunities count will be key.

Spurs only draw 1-1 with our feeder club Soton, so we could go 5 pts clear of 5th place. Heavy conditions at St.Mary's but Spurs didn't deserve any more than a point.

No slip ups against the Swans.

      0-2.

It's the kind of game we have slipped up in before. Time to show some progress, put clear sky between us and Spurs and pile some pressure on Chelsea and Man United.

Spuds result this afternoon meant they dropped two points.

That'll put some 5 points between us and them if we get the win v the Potters.

We can build on that and keep the gap.

Nothing would make me happier though , than to finish this season higher than the Scum.

Be more than happy to take a 1-0 tomorrow.  All very well beating Man City but then you have to beat the side at the opposite at the end of the table.

Liverpool should be five points ahead of 5th placed tomorrow evening - can't see any decent excuses available if we aren't.

If we lose this game then Klopp needs to give the team a good kick in the bollox, no excuses for this one after beating city they have to show up.

I think it could be a tight game mate. I’m expecting Swansea to be drilled and wanting to perform for their home fans.

However, the fact is if we are on our game then I can’t see how we won’t score a few, so they will have to outscore us.

Oh no, not another must win 😳

If we don’t, it seems that massive effort against city will be to no advantage.

The midfield will really need to step up, possess and create. A goal from a midfielder and/or a set piece would be a real plus.

Believe so. Has had a bit of bug but think ok.

Big statement I think if we dispose of this lot with minimal fuss after City.

What a difference 12 months had made !
This time last year we were in the middle of nightmare month if you can all remember.
and, it all started after a brilliant 1-0 win over Man City :f_tongueincheek:

Swansea were sh*te at Anfield a few weeks ago and they'll be sh*te again tonight despite a new manager in place.
Treat them like we did Man City and we could get into double figures !!

      I'm keeping a calm head and going for a 4-0 win ;D
