What a week for our Boys.... Henderson picking up the European Cup. Andy Robbo scored a screamer last night whilst Captaining Scotland for Steve Clarkes first win and tonight Virgil and Gini are going to destroy Portugal to win the Nation cup .

Hopefully alisson, bobby, sadio, mo and maybe naby survive the summer exertions.

Trent putting is some stunning crosses but the muppets cant score from them. Listening to Tyler and Ratboy they are so f***in ignorant of today's modern game. Apparently the mistakes by England players had nothing to do with them being sh*te but because the midfield didn't give them a passing opportunity .You could have had 10 midfield players in range and they still would have fu**ed up

The parade is on and Trafalgar Square is being prepared as we speak!

Now for the most pointless sentence to have ever been uttered in the history of the English language.

'Congratulations to England for achieving third place in the Nations League.'

What's this nonsense with BBC reporting it as the biggest success for England in a major tournament since way back when..

This a major tournament? It's a joke. A mini 'Charity Shield tournament' that we lost out on, and managed to scrape 3rd place out of 4 teams in the loser game - if that even. Perhaps Charity Shield is even more significant.

Glad to see Trent getting the plaudits though, and Gomez seemingly did well too. I don't mind the international friendly, but the pretence that this was something more than that is just silly. As for Southgate, what a joke he is. Get's everything wrong. Fails at every turn, and yet he's the greatest... yadda yadda.

I tell you what, B.Fernandes looks impressive playing in the middle, and VVD has been a monster yet again.

The Dutch just like that special attacking player and a decent GK. Such a shame they didn't win :(

If the FA want to know why so many people are turned off by the England Football team here is one reason.
The headline on the BBC "Pickford the Hero in England shootout win".
Now this week we have been celebrating Heroes from 75 years ago many of whom died in defence of this Country I don't think third place playoff Penalty shoot out win is on the same level of heroism as men being mowed down by enemy Machine Guns. Its a Carabo Cup version from UEFA and third place even first place isn't really much of an achievement. The FA and England need to show a bit of class and dignity exactly the two qualities I have seen the old boys demonstrate many times this week.

England's midfield and defence are quite weak, plus iffy goalkeeper. They are no where near as good as some think.

I think on their day with the group of defender they have and they are on form can be pretty good, I just think the mid-field or lack of just puts more pressure on the back-line because they have to defend more and hurts the attack because they do not create as much.

Yeah it was great day for Canadian team and with the awful set up for WCQ it puts them in 6th and a place in the Hex. We have a good attack and mid-field but our CB's pool is pretty weak with the likes of Herny, Corneluis, Didic, James etc (Shame Tomori didn't elect to play for Canada). With World Cup coming and the start of the CPL things are looking up for the Canadian program.
